Circe's Manor THE NEXT

*Perhaps surprisingly, no one seems to be paying much attention to Dan as he leaves. Sudden transformations like this aren't entirely uncommon, after all. Penny is still right outside, waiting for him and looking to see if Abby's around.*

*Abby is, in fact, there. How she got dried off and back in her uniform without any indication that she'd done so is a mystery for the ages.*

Huh. Okay.

Let's go with that, then. *Circe calls up a couple of maids to take the new art pieces to their places, then leads Zapana away toward the bowling alley.*

*follows along* I'd been feeling good about gaining new abilities and perfecting an old one, so I challenged Thaddea to a fight the last time she was in the area. *shakes her head* Nope, still got curbstomped.

Even though no one was actually bothered by it, it still didn't help with the feeling he was out of place there... This world was used to such bizarre things~
Catching up to Penny, "Okay, ready to go..umm... Any ideas where we could go first?"

*Abby is, in fact, there. How she got dried off and back in her uniform without any indication that she'd done so is a mystery for the ages.*

Huh. Okay.

Well, what kind of things are you interested in? We got a movie theater, a bowling alley, an arcade... We've got all sorts of places to see.

"Drat." Kara sighed. "No idea how I'll get there then..."

Mmm... I'll tell you what. Thing is, I was planning to head out there on my break. If you're willing to wait a bit, I might be able to give you a ride.

Dan nods listening to the different suggestions, "Oh wow, this manor basically has almost everything a person could want, doesn't it? Still can't believe how huge this place is... Well, umm, the movie theater sounds fun, wonder what movies they are playing in this world, heheh~"

Kara practically beamed at the offer. "Sure I can wait, thank you!"

Yeah. I charged up for an Arctic Firestorm, I blacked out, and the next thing I knew Thaddea was pouring my own alcohol on my wounds.

Dan nods listening to the different suggestions, "Oh wow, this manor basically has almost everything a person could want, doesn't it? Still can't believe how huge this place is... Well, umm, the movie theater sounds fun, wonder what movies they are playing in this world, heheh~"

Abby: Just about anything and everything, depending on what they feel like showing.

Abby: Just about anything and everything, depending on what they feel like showing.

Basically, yeah. I think I think I heard talk about starting some kind of Godzilla marathon today, if that's your thing. Apparently some of what they're showing didn't get made in some worlds...

Kara practically beamed at the offer. "Sure I can wait, thank you!"

It's a deal, then. Just give me like five minutes to get ready and I'll meet you outside. *The maid quickly walks away, leaving Kara behind.*

"Ah, they have Godzilla here too? Sure, I'm okay with that, I only have seen a few, but I wouldn't mind watching more. How about you Abby, is Godzilla okay with you or rather something else?"
He also was a bit curious if movies here had obvious CGI effect or maybe they used magic to make things seem more realistic? He'll just have to wait and see.
Looking back to Penny, "Do you know where the theater is or should I grab the map?"

Kara nods and waits patiently for the maid to return.

Yeah. One of my more embarrassing defeats, really...

"Ah, they have Godzilla here too? Sure, I'm okay with that, I only have seen a few, but I wouldn't mind watching more. How about you Abby, is Godzilla okay with you or rather something else?"

"Aah, phew~." The dog-girl breathes a sigh of relief. "I was already getting really tired of biting my own tongue to not hit on every maid I saw..."

Nah, I got this. *Penny pulls out her own map and briefly double-checks it before leading the way toward the theater.*

Kara nods and waits patiently for the maid to return.

*The maid returns a short while later, now clad in more casual clothes.* Ah, you're still here. You ready to go?

Dan nods, then following Penny thorough the hallway, mildly looking around, observing the decoration that was put there. "Say... did Circe buy most of this or did she or someone else just.. umm.. 'magic it all up'?"

Yeah, that does sound bad... Well, maybe this will take your mind off it. *Circe opens up the door, letting herself and Zapana into her full-fledged personal bowling alley.*

*enters and looks around, nodding in approval* Nice place. It occurred to me that there might not be any bowling shoes that'll fit these feet, so is it okay if I go without?

Abby: Before my time, but I think it was the latter. ...And it was done after Lady Circe became what she is now.

He gives Abby a curious look, "Ummm, before she stopped being a super villain?... Hm.. wonder how this place looked like before then."
