Circe's Manor THE NEXT

[Ookalf]

*Dan puts his latest hat on, and... becomes a woman once again.* Ah, still not quite it. There should be plenty of items left to try, though.

[xGoggles]

Dan nods, still flushed this hat didn't work either, she could have sworn the fancy hat was wizard-like enough...
She moves over to the robes then reconsiders; many of them already had a more feminine glace to them.. and so were rather risky... She then spots a couple of capes. Capes can be magical, right? She grabs hold of a cape almost forgetting she had to remove the hat off first! Quickly she reminds herself and puts the hat to the side to return to normal before then finally putting on the cape.

*Well, Dan's new form certainly does feel magical! It also feels very much like a girl.* Bad luck again... At the right you're going, you might want to consider just settling on a female form you like...

[xGoggles]

She winces at the idea of only being able to practice magic in as a girl, but the way things were looking, that'll likely be the only available option for now... There were still a ton of costumes laying around, finding the right ones and trying them all out might take a couple of days, and even at the start, Circe was already doubtful any would be for men anyway...
Maybe after getting more proficient in magic, Dan will be able to create an alternative male outfit or maybe even be able to use magic in his 'normal' form? As for now, even with this letdown, and just like Circe said, it might be better to just settle on a female form for now. "I-...I suppose I should... Umm, Miss Circe, this form feels quite magical, should I give the crystal a try again, to see if any of my magical energy has changed?", she asks taking out the crystal that was given to her earlier.

I would say that's a good idea. *Should Dan try the crystal again, she'll find that it now glows red in her witch forms - a positive sign.*

[xGoggles]

Dan looks with curiosity to the more bright red glow coming from the crystal, that looked a lot more promising than the faint white one. "Ah~ It is red, what does that mean? Is that a good thing?"

[Ookalf]

*Circe nods.* It means you have potential, I'll say that much. Lessons can begin as soon as you've settled into a form you're comfortable with.

[xGoggles]

She begins to smile, happy that now she at least has some magical potential. "Well.. not sure if changing into too many forms on a single time is good for my sanity... I guess this form is.. okay...", Dan tries to hide her blush, "..I mean for a girl's form..."
Looking around a bit more, just to make sure if anything still catches her eye as something she might try, but nothing particular jumps up from the quick glance. "I might just stick with this one for now.. unless there is still a costume still you'd like me to try out?"

[Ookalf]

Hey now, I assure you that my products are carefully tested to avoid inflicting any such psychological trauma. ...But for now, I'll let you stick with whatever form you like. My preferences can wait for another time...

[xGoggles]

"Ahh~ S-sorry, I didn't mean it like that.. umm... Just I'm new to this whole.. transforming thing..." Dan lets out a small sigh, and looks around again, then noticing a bunch of wands. She wonders if those might work too. "So..what happens when you combine costumes?", she asks while reaching for one of the wands.

Generally speaking, nothing. The second item won't take effect until the first has been removed.

[xGoggles]

Dan nods understandingly, then takes off her cape and puts it to the side. Then he takes a wand to see if that was enough to count as wearing a costume.

*A single prop may not constitute a costume, but this wand seems to be enchanted all the same, transforming Dan into yet another witch as she takes it.* About what you were expecting?

[xGoggles]

"Well..I didn't really have my hopes up, but a wand looked gender-neutral enough to give a try I guess.." She looks over at the other wand options, some of them all pink and sparkly.. likely for magical girls... Maybe a wand wasn't all that androgynous after all...
She put the wand away and looks around. Maybe he should try some of the accessories.. some of those necklaces and rings looked magical, the ones made out of plant material are kinda druid-like even... But he wasn't specifically interested in learning only nature magic, so he ignored those.
Eventually, Dan settles down to try one of the rings, though given they were rings they could as easily be made for a whole other costume in general. But if he was really lucky it would be a fancy male warlock one he was hoping for.. or of course yet another witch...

*On the bright side, Dan's not a witch this time! On the down side, she's definitely not any manlier.* Struck out again...
