Circe's Manor THE NEXT

[Ookalf]

"Oh, umm okay?..", he says following Circe down the hall. Unsure if he should put the crystal somewhere or give it back.. and just decided to keep it with him for now.
Dan was curious how the lessons will be, and if they would be magical-school-like as with Harry Potter, or maybe more like regular classes like he used to have? Maybe it was something very different; training magic doing plain chores.. like to how they train in some kung-fu movies?... Dan muses while he continues to follow his teacher.

*In time, Circe leads Dan to a room labeled "costume parts".* Right through here. *And in she goes, into a room where various articles of clothing rest on shelves, racks, and hangers.* Now, there should be a witch hat you can use around here somewhere...

Marie retrieves the jar, then briefly sets it back down on the shelf to see if she can find where the nearest lab is on the map. "Hmmmm..."

*Searching, searching... Located! Marie spies a room called the "fruit lab" about a block away from her current location.*

Dan looks around curiously as they enter the room full of costume parts. What were they doing here, and what did costumes have to do with enhancing his magical energy? He gives Circe a puzzled look and asks, "How will a witch-hat help me with magic?"

After a moment to memorize the directions at each intersection, Marie takes the jar back and starts on her way to the lab, humming quietly to herself.

Meanwhile, a small post-it note appears stuck to one of the costumes near Circe with a tiny sparkle of light that seems intended just to draw her attention to it. Quickly scrawled on is: "I tried to get you a smart witch earlier but it didn't quite work. -W"

Dan looks around curiously as they enter the room full of costume parts. What were they doing here, and what did costumes have to do with enhancing his magical energy? He gives Circe a puzzled look and asks, "How will a witch-hat help me with magic?"

*Circe speaks with a tone that suggests what she says next should be completely obvious.* By being magic, of course. Now, let's see... *Circe starts going through the hat racks, naming off each one as she goes.* Nurse, police, pirate...

After a moment to memorize the directions at each intersection, Marie takes the jar back and starts on her way to the lab, humming quietly to herself.

Meanwhile, a small post-it note appears stuck to one of the costumes near Circe with a tiny sparkle of light that seems intended just to draw her attention to it. Quickly scrawled on is: "I tried to get you a smart witch earlier but it didn't quite work. -W"

*It's a relatively simple trek to the lab, where she spies a maid wearing a labcoat over her uniform also entering the room.*

*Elsewhere!* Bunny ears... *Circe quickly reads the note, then tosses it aside and moves on.* Whatevr...

"Oh umm, okay... so these costumes are magical?... So if I'd put on a wizard costume, I would be able to cast spells like one?", Dan actually gets what excited about this, it actually sounded a bit too good to be true; just wearing a costume and you get the associated skills? It couldn't be that easy, could it?
He helps by looking through the racks of hats on the other side, eyes open for anything that might look mage-like.

More or less, yeah. Baseball cap... *It takes a minute to sort through everything, but Dan does eventually spot a black, pointed hat. Could this be it?*

[xGoggles]

Dan carefully takes the black hat, giving it a closer look, then shows it to Circe and asks, "Umm.. something like this?"

Hm? *Circe sets aside a cap she'd been inspecting and turns to Dan.* Yeah, that should do it. Go ahead and put it on.

[xGoggles]

"Uhh, umm, are you sure? Uh, okay?" The hat didn't look that special or magical; it didn't glow or sparkle or anything. Though who was he to know what magical clothing looked like? Dan gives the hat a doubtful look, unsure how much it'll help him with magic. He takes off his goggles and slowly puts the black hat on his head.

*And so it begins! The second Dan puts the hat on his head he feels a jolt run through his body, transforming him. His skin tone lightens as he body assumes a more feminine shape, complete with a sizable bust and rearranged genitals. Following this, her eyes turn a bright green, and her hair shifts to a shade of red and grows significantly longer before twisting itself into twin braids. After that comes her clothes, which morph into a short-shorts and bustier combo with tall boots and unattached sleeves. The end result looks something like this.* So, what do you think of the look?

Certainly caught by surprise as he.. well she now, suddenly got transformed by the hat. It took a few moments for Dan to find her bearings, to realize what actually happened. "I.. uh..wha--WHAAAT~! What happened to me! W-why am I a girl?!", she cries out loudly, feeling her changed body and clothing to confirm it was all real.

[Ookalf]

*Indeed, everything about this feels quite real! Circe, meanwhile, is staring at Dan following her outburst.* ...Wow, you really are new here, aren't you? Things like this tend to happen, so you'd better get used to it quickly.

[xGoggles]

Dan becomes nervous again because she went shouting again in front of Circe. "S-sorry... Uh.. What do you mean 'things like this'? Do people often randomly change when they put on clothing?" She felt weird in her new body. She was warned about weird fruits and such, not magical clothing that would transform her; what was up with this bizarre world?

[Ookalf]

Well, I'd hardly call this particular change random. My costumes are designed to do this, after all... Transformations in general, though? Yeah, those are basically a daily occurrence for certain people.

[xGoggles]

"What? It is?... But why... Why did I have to transform into a.. girl?..", she asks blushing deeply. So this was what Circe meant with the costumes being magic. Now knowing the effect, of course, it was quite obvious now...
