Circe's Manor THE NEXT

Me? Like I said, I'm just a part-timer, so I actually live in town... Other people do have rooms like this, though.

[xGoggles]

"Oh yeah... I see.. but I mean like--... Nevermind... Anyway, thank you very much for taking me to my new room. Umm...", he looks around a bit awkwardly, not sure if he still needs to do something with the maid or like dismiss her... Though dismissing people just feels like such a rude thing to do.

[Ookalf]

*Yoko waits a second for Dan to say finish that thought before responding.* ...You need me to get out of here so you can do whatever? 'Cause I'm happy to leave if you don't need anything.

[xGoggles]

"Y-yeah, I think I'm good to enjoy this room alone for now. T-thanks.. oh wait... if I need anything or someone, is there a bell or something here or I'll just go look for someone in the hallway?", it just occurred to him, if there was an issue, he'd have to go through that maze of a hallway again.

[Ookalf]

Yeah, your best bet is probably just to look for someone... But I doubt that'll be too hard, especially once you have a phone and map and stuff.

[xGoggles]

"Oh, yeah a map of this place would be great, can I maybe.. have one... I mean.. if there are any left I can maybe borrow for a while? I can try to study it over in my free time, so I don't need a guide all the time to take me places", even though this place looked very big, he wasn't sure how big or complex this map would actually be.

[Ookalf]

Well, I guess you can borrow mine... *Yoko fishes a piece of paper out of her pocket and offers it to Dan.*

[xGoggles]

Actually surprised the piece of paper looked rather small for a map of a place this big. He takes a hold of it to look it over a little, curious if he could find his own room on it. "Thanks a lot. Umm, where are we now on the map?"

[Ookalf]

It should be locked onto us... *A cursory examination of the map will reveal how it can be so small - it's actually animated, allowing the user to scroll around and view different areas with touch controls, as though it were a digital map. There are even indicators showing where everyone in the Manor is at the moment.*

[xGoggles]

"Oh, what, this almost looks like digital, but on paper? Wow this is nice!", He moves the view around with his finger, "So easy to use too. Did Circe make these herself?"

[Ookalf]

Well, I can't imagine someone else would've done it. Anyway, is that the last thing you need?

[xGoggles]

"Umm, I think so, thanks again for showing me to my room.. and the map", he waits a bit for the maid to leave, then closes the door behind him and runs up to his bed, jumping flat on it. Ohhh good beds do feel so nice though, he thinks while nuzzling his face into the sheets.

[Ookalf]

*It is indeed a very comfy bed! It looks like there are definite perks to living here.*

(And I think that's about it for this scene, and we can maybe skip ahead to something else happening. Unless there's something else you wanna do following that?)

[xGoggles]

"Well time for bed~", while he undresses he lets out a sigh as he noticed he should have asked for some sleepwear while he was at it. Guess he'll just have to sleep in his underwear for tonight.
Tomorrow he better not forget to get some more clothes though, he reminds himself, as he snuggles into bed and falls asleep, wondering what tomorrow might bring.

(( That's fine, can skip ahead~ Unless some other people are doing some nighttime adventures? o.o ))

(I think we're good to go. Onward, toward tomorrow!)

*Dan awakens the next morning after a good night's sleep. Upon waking up, one of the first things he'll see should be the shiny new phone sitting on his nightstand!*
