Circe's Manor THE NEXT

[xGoggles]

He starts trace-back and follows the directions he put down on his notepad. Steadily picking up the pace, not feeling all too comfortable walking around alone at night in an unfamiliar mansion constructed by demons. "Good thing I wrote down some of these subtle details.. it looks like I'm going in the right direction at least..." Dan mutters to himself as he still has a long way to go, to get back to the party.

[Ookalf]

*As Dan walks along, he sees various maids going about their business here and there, though none of them seem to pay him a whole lot of attention. He could probably ask for directions if he really needed too...*

[xGoggles]

As he keeps a close eye to follow the path through the maze-like hallway, some pressure down below keeps grabbing his attention. He shouldn't return to the banquet hall with a full bladder..better to find a toilet somewhere first.
Walking up to one of the maids, one that seemed the least busy, "U-umm, excuse me... I'm new here.. could you maybe show me the way to the bathroom?"

[Ookalf]

*The maid, a pink-haired woman who'd been just standing against one wall and texting (hopefully she was on break!), looks up from her phone and smiles at Dan.* You're the new guy, right? Lucky for you, we've got bathrooms, like, all over the place. Heck, there's one right there! *She points to a door with a little picture of a toilet on it nearby.* Go at it, dude.

[xGoggles]

"Ah, umm t-thanks", he responds a bit shyly. Happy that how convenient it was to find one; he remembers that the maid from earlier did mention something similar about this place having a lot of bathrooms around. He opens the door, enters, and closes it behind him.

[Ookalf]

*Inside Dan finds a pretty danged big and fancy bathroom, with a large tub/shower, a comfortable-looking toilet, and a closet stocked with pretty much anything one could need in a bathroom.*

[xGoggles]

"Oh dear, everything here is so fancy", he moves over to the toilet and does his business.
Afterwards, washing his hands and take a look in the mirror, making sure nothing is stuck between his teeth or anything. Then proceeds to leave the bathroom, and maybe see if the maid was still there.

[Ookalf]

*Indeed, the maid is right where Dan left her.* Oh, hey. You get everything done in there?

[xGoggles]

"Y-yeah all done... It is very fancy there.. are all bathrooms here like that?" he answers still a bit timid. "Umm.. h-how about you? Are you on night-shift?"

[Ookalf]

Yeah, mostly. But sometimes you get weird ones that're, like, one toilet and nothin' else, in a giant room. And yeah, I'm working night shift. The name's Penny.

[xGoggles]

"I guess.. those are for the claustrophobic people, heheh...?" he did a small nervous chuckle at his own joke... "I'm Dan, nice to meet you Penny. Circe kind of accepted me as her apprentice, so I might be seeing you around sometime."
"But yeah, I have to get going, back to the party...Ummm...", Dan looks back at his notepad. "Let's see, I came from.. so that means I have to go...", mumbling a bit as it seems he got a bit off track, "The banquet hall is in that direction, right?" Pointing in a general direction in a maze-like structure might not be very practical but at least he'll know he is going the right way.

[Ookalf]

Yeah, it should be around that way... *Penny nods.* You want help getting there or anything?

[xGoggles]

"I.. umm.. think I can find my way... But if you aren't busy or anything...", not sure if she was on break or not, she sure seemed to have enough time on her hands to relax and text. "Having some company to come with me, would be nice, heheh...", offering the maid to come along if they want to, he already starts to take a few step towards the direction of the party.

[Ookalf]

Sure, I don't have anything better to do. *Penny shrugs as she puts her phone away and follows Dan.* So, you're Miss Circe's new apprentice... That sounds like it could be pretty cool.

[xGoggles]

Dan smiles, glad to have someone to talk to for a bit, "Sure hope so. I'm very happy I found someone so powerful, that could teach me magic. And it was very nice and generous of her to accept me as a student and allow me to stay here... But.. she sure seems very.. umm.. 'intimidating'..?"
