Eebon: Well, you may or may not have heard of them, but have you heard about Color Fruits yet?

He blinks a few times, not sure what to think of that question.. "Do you mean the color of fruits? Are there certain poisonous fruits here I need to look out for?"

Eebon: Not poisonous, just weird. If you ever see one around the Manor and you don't know what it is, ask someone about it before you ever eat it. Gaw.

Weird... he takes it as 'this manor is build by demons'-weird, regardless he shouldn't mess with things he doesn't understand anyway, he adds 'don't eat weird fruits without asking' , "Thank you for the fair warning, I'll keep that in mind..."
Focusing back to the hallway "Wait didn't we go pass this area already? Hmmm.. sorry this intersection looks very similar to the last one from before"

Eebon: Nah, we're on the right track. *points to a stand with a potted plant on it* We'll turn right at the next branch after this plant, and then it's right there.

"Oh, I see.." taking note of the plant on his notepad, "I guess I have to pay attention to every detail in these hallways before I'm able to find my way around here without guide"

Eebon: Yeah... it annoys me a little that Echo doesn't need to worry about misdirection. Gaw.

"He doesn't, why so?.. Is it because he has an internal mapping system as a cat?" he ask in between writing up some more details about the hallway he should pay attention to.

Eebon: Well, it's half that and half his special ability. He can use shadows as tunnels to get from one place to another. From his perspective, it's like he's going up and down a short stairway. Gaw.

"That... is pretty useful...hmmm, do you have any powers like that?", he asks looking Eebon over.

Eebon: Sort of. Gaw. I can teleport kind of like my Mom can, but my primary abilities revolve around manipulating shadows and darkness. It's more mutational than magical in nature, so I can't teach it to anyone outside my species or anything like that.

"I mean, obviously she wouldn't. It wouldn't be fair! But if no one's keeping track of what everyone's doing, how would she or anyone else even find out?"

Ah, she usually finds out eventually... Don't ask me how. She just does.

Yeah, I guess that's one way... You seem awfully enthusiastic about that, though.

Eebon: In theory. For me, it's a little hard to focus on the precise location.
