*In an alcove that looks new compared to the rest of the restroom, there's a shower stall sealed off from the rest of the world by four dark curtains. The music heard is emanating from a cassette player set up nearby.*

*Somewhere in the store, a bored employee with nothing to do decides to take a nap next to a display of enchanted sewing materials. While she sleeps, she accidentally rolls over into a display of enchanted sewing materials, knocking everything onto the floor. When other employees come to investigate the noise, the reason behind it becomes clear - the thread was bumped due to lack of activity. But that's not really important...*

*The front door opens, admitting a bicycle-riding newspaper delivery girl. She slams a newspaper onto the counter, then backpedals and exits.*

*The newspaper's name---The Opelucid Times---gives some indication that it's from Calico Bridges' home universe. A massively large headline on the front page ("TOO STUPID TO QUIT") demands the reader's attention. The photograph beneath it, a split-image of Aldonza Caretti and that world's Circe staring at a battlefield with matching "stunned fish" expressions, earns said attention. A smaller photograph sits at the bottom of the front page, showing a tired Pidgeot helping an exhausted Serperior upright.*
