Could it actually be intelligent? ...Either way, he's clearly not getting down there as long as it's in the way. The real question is what to do about it.
After weighing his options, Alex decides to go back up and find another way down. After all, he's just the tech guy. He may have some combat experience, but that thing seems like it'll be a bit beyond his ability to deal with on his own. As he runs off to find another way, he gives the team another call. "Price again. Just had an encounter with unknown, hostile lifeform. Incredibly quick, sharp claws... Kind of looked like a living mannequin. Be on guard if you see it, or any others. I've got a feeling it has something to do with what's going on."
Mack responds on the radio. "Acknowledged. Try not to engage. We aren't here to bring the thunder. Not yet, anyway."
As he heads up the tunnels... he continues to hear it... the click clacking of its claws and high heels on metal... its creepy echoing giggle... Behind him, down a side passage... up above, through a ventilation shaft. But when he turns to look, its always gone... He could swear he saw once, those pairs of glowing eyes down a hallway... but not more than that. Though the hair on the back of his neck continues to rise... as finally up ahead he sees the ladder up to surface access.

The woman blinks. "Ah. We are still renovating and getting all parts of the casino fully operational. Please do not worry about construction projects, everything is fine." She gestures again to the door of the tram.

Vasily peers around the doorframe... ready to strike! And comes across a... rather curvy woman in an old fashioned maid's uniform... sweeping the floor with a broom. Swish... swish... swish...

Something about the large, old fashioned kitchen have off a rather comforting, cosy sort of feeling that briefly numbed the shock of his situation. He drew in a deep breath through his nose, and the delicious smell caused him to close his eyes for a moment, a murmuring spilling from his lips.
As he eyelids fluttered back open, Charlie's focus was utterly dominated by the woman in the blue dress. His adult mind was stirred by her figure, yet he also found himself drawn to her pretty clothes and the gentle hum of her voice. Despite all common sense suggesting he should back away and try another route of escape, the baking smell instead drew him in. The dress rustled about his thighs as he opened the door a little further and took a couple of steps. All he wanted to do was see what she was cooking, but his chesr tightened in panic as the shiny little shoes tapped against the tiled flooring...
Everything about her was so... captivating. Her soft, pretty dress... those wide, round curves... the way she sways as she hums with that melodious voice... the sound as alluring as the woman humming it. Even the delicious smell draws him closer... it was as if all of his senses were being assaulted... luring him closer... even as his mind no doubt tells him to run. But instead he takes another step... then another... his shiny shoes clicking and clacking on the tile floor... all sense of subterfuge lost. He finds himself desperately wanting to run up and bury his soft hands in the silky poofs of her skirts... hugging her tightly.
And then she pauses her humming. "Oooh? Is that you, sweety?" She turns around... the hem of her skirt swishing as it rises from the half twirl... silk and lace bouncing with soft swishes. She looks down at him and smiles... Her face was... perfect. Large eyes, full lips... graceful eyebrows and lashes... all done up immaculately with makeup. He finds himself staring into her big blue eyes... as the thought that they look remarkably alike creeps through his head...

In the hold of the Kellion, second Engineer Clarke sits... paging through the info terminal he had wired into the wall. He was trying, as before, to hook himself into the station network. He'd never seen such security on a civilian system before... it was crazy. But he didn't have much better to do... waiting for a rescue was boring work. He had sealed the doors of the ship tight after the work crew had gone dark. Whatever was going on out there, he didn't want a part in it. He'd wait until it all blew over... or until the bulkhead sealing the ship in was lifted.
