Tuo: Ex Machina

[Blaze]

Aileen pinches herself and winches!

"Ow! So that's what pain is like... it's unpleasant."

She looks up at Tuo and blinks.

"Huh? Oh, yeah... let's go."

[the unbalanced one]

I smile and offer a hand to her and Yama. "Is it safe to assume you can transport all three of us at once?" I ask Yama.

[Blaze]

Yama grins confidently as he takes Tuo and Aileen's hands, giving them a reassuring squeeze.

"Of course I can."

He closes his eyes and Tuo's world fills with light! When it fades, she finds herself outside once more, outside a grand library.

I look around, trying to get my bearings of where we are in the city. "Huh, I thought we'd end up near your shop. What's this place?" I ask Yama.

[Blaze]

"This is the Muffinville Library of course. Best to set up Miss Aileen with a job as soon as possible, right?" Yama says as he walks up the stairs to the library. Aileen follows after him, looking a bit wobbly as she learns to traverse stairs!

Huh, and here I thought she was gonna get a job working for Yama as well, though this makes more sense. "Careful there." I say to Aileen and help steady her as she climbs the stairs.

[Blaze]

"Whoa! T-Thanks..." Aileen mutters, startled when Tuo touched her. Upon reaching the top of the stairs, they find Yama waiting for them, holding the door for the pair.

"Ladies first."

I smirk at Yama's display of chivalry, not used to such things yet and wondering if I'll be wanting that before dismissing the train of thought for now. "Thanks again boss, today has been..interesting so far." I remark as I walk with Aileen through the doors before holding one of the doors open with a foot to return the gesture to Yama, whether or not it was actually helpful.

Yama smiles and nods to Tuo as he follows the pair into the library. The library itself is modern despite it's old exterior with computer rooms and online catalog. Yama walks up to the front desk, where a young man scans books to be reshelved.

Aileen fidgets nervously as Yama asks him about jobs, turning to Tuo.

"What might I have to do?..."
