The Princess and the Coin--A Day of Wishes

[Harri-chan]

Melanie seemed to have been stunned in silence as her own magic worked against her and stole another few years. She shifted about slightly, wincing at the crinkle she could hear coming from inside the overalls, while the plastic crown replaced her tiara.

Seeing Mendo pick up the coin soon got her attention however. She had suffered, so she wasn't going to let everyone else escape the coin's mischief. "Hey!", she yelled up at the ninja. "That's my coin! And I was letting people make wishes! You can't take it!".

[Mendi-chan]

*Mendo smiles to the girl*
Miss, my apologies, but I think it's better for everyone if I just take this away.

[Harri-chan]

Melanie started to reach a hand toward Mendo, but then hesitated, a flicker of doubt crossing her face. "I'm the ruler of this town... and I command you hand over that coin, or at least make a wish! I can have you thrown in the dungeon!", she warned.

[Mendi-chan]

*He smirks*
I'm afraid that I will listen to no such order. *He pulls the coin out*
Plus, you and I both know that if I make a wish with this it'd probably be more trouble than it was worth.

Calamity meanwhile seeethes.

"Coin?"

*Smiles at Calamity*

*Floats in circling around the situation*

Melanie glanced at Calamity for a moment, but Mendo was her new focus. She jabbed a finger toward the smartly dressed Elliot with a beautiful girl at his side, "Look at him! He's rich, powerful AND got the girl! That's beyond his wildest dreams! You too could make your heart's desires become reality!".

Calamity frowns, pushing into the conversation! She doesn't take kindly to being ignored.

"If not for that damnable pact with Mithrexis you would already be dead, freak--now what's this coin?"

[Alexis]

Well if he's hiding a coin, presumably flipping him would activate it..

[Kumi-chan]

K nods his head to Alexis. "I would assume so. I did notice it before and something seemed unique about it. However I think Mendo has the right idea. A boring idea but the right one. So yes I agree with him." He pulls Calamity and Melanie back holding onto the young girls. "Now will the two of you calm down, please? Let Mendo and us discuss this."
It's either that or K does something mean to Mendo, maybe influencing him to flip for a wish. Part of K is scheme to do so.

*Smiles at the princess*
But, I should point out, others who have used it have not made it out so lucky... Why should I risk it?

And, my dear Calamity, this is just a simple wish granting coin is all. Of course, I wouldn't focus on it too much... as you can't lay a finger on me, and it's squarely in my possession.
*He says grinning, raising an eyebrow at K... but not really addressing him quite yet.*

Mischa continues to stand and watch! Hey, at least the whole commotion was pretty interesting~

In the meantime, a certain nuclear-powered news reporter happens to be passing by... and starts taking pictures! "Unyu~ This looks like a scoop!"

Melanie felt herself being tugged back, and she glared up at K as he spoke down to her and Calamity in such a way. "Let you discuss it? I found the coin in the first place!", she explained, sounding anything but calm. The problem was, she didn't have a hint of authority in her voice either, so she just came across as whining.

Her gaze snapped back to Mendo, "Life is all about taking risks... can't you take the chance on some minor disruption in order to make your dreams come true? Even when it doesn't work completely the way you intended... you still end up getting your wish".

The coin lands...again on the swirly side. Looks like all of Elliot's good luck was being taken out on everyone else! Chris immediately begins to feel..strange. To those watching the changes may not seem all that dramatic next to the recent cardboardification of two others, but on the inside it feels like he's being replaced piece by piece--and though he can feel each new piece, it feels like a copy, a simulation of something real, Fake blonde hair fills in for his real hair, internal motors replace his muscles, well-crafted joints, his ligaments--and the image of a girl replaces his old make status, leaving him as a young gynoid. The last thing replaced is her brain, with a computer. All his knowledge is still there, and his emotions as well..but it's hard to shake the synthetic feeling of it all. Still, she'll find she has a built in encyclopedia defining this as a 'Difference Coin'. Grants wishes. Who knew?

Chris erks as the changes rush over him, now her, before staring at her body, a bit stunned. "Well, damn..." She says for a moment, looking herself over and noticing the synthetic feeling of everything, frowning, before looking over at Mendo. "Hey! Give that coin back!" She yells, heading over to him and trying to quickly pry the coin from his hands!
