She looks at Elliot and smiles.

"Uhm, how about a wooden sword/walking stick?"

Alright. What kind of wooden sword are you looking to make it into exactly? *She begins to lead the others on into the forest.* Well ultimately our goal is to get to that shed and stop the tape from repeating the chant so as to put a stop to incoming zombie things. For now though I think I'm going to lead you all to a weeping willow that I know grows here. They have an interesting reaction if you feed them the right kind of energy.

"Rei, I don't think we want to go near those sorts of trees while the tape is playing"

*Nods.* You have a point. We'll save the tree for later. For now lets try to get to that shack. We will swing by the firebulbs though. It gets darker the further in we go and they might help light our way.

[Blaze]

Nova gives a nod and a salute.

"Yes ma'am!"

[Kumi-chan]

Alright. *walks along* something wrong when it is dark?

Not everyone in a our troop can see in the darkness. Incoming by the way. *Several of the evil dead have beset the group.* Everyone, try to kill at least one. Kumi, let them have at least one if you would be so kind. *Is jumped by three herself and is standing there looking annoyed while they try to gnaw on or stab her only to find that it isn't doing much.* Iron skin. Heh.

[Blaze]

Nova yelps as the group is attacked by the walking dead!

"Uhm... o-okay!" she squeaks, breaking out in a cold sweat.

Grasping her axe, she raises it and brings it down on a zombie, aiming to bisect it!

[Kumi-chan]

Rei. You say that like I have no self control. I'll actually wait then and let them defend themselves for a moment that is unless they suddenly decide to attack me. In the mean time. *lets the others fight their undead while she goes about gathering some stick together in a pile, taking them from the ground and building some of the leaves she finds lying around and adding them to the pile. She places the end of a stick into a portal and pulls it out of the portal on fire. She places the stick onto the pile of them and makes a fire. Lastly she pulls out a pot and checks the lid. Closing it and placing the pot above the fire.* Okay. Call me if you need. *wacks one of the zombies with a staff.* hand. *wacks it again with the staff, breaking its skull.*

Suddenly, a knapsack with the official Muffin Scout emblem appears near Rei and the other scouts. Inside the knapsack are other knapsacks for each scout and their scout leaders and the official Muffin Scout Handbooks, as well as a Scout Leader edition for the scout Mistress and her junior assistant.

A note appears on the knapsacks of each scout and scout leader.

If you need any additional materials for your troop, please use the forms I enclosed in the last communique package. I can arrange a face-to-face meeting at your earliest convience to observe your troop and monitor your badge gathering activites. I will also expect yout troop to have weekly assigned meetings and eventually, meet with the official Muffin Scout Association Board.

OOC: Anyone want to give a good name for the MSA President, who has been in communications with the scout leader?
If you have any good numbers for the scout troop to have on their uniforms, please pitch ideas. There's an offical badge for local troop and regional location that appears on the sleeve of the uniform, above the troop number.

Ellie had been hiding behind Rei during the zombie attack. She peers up at the older Scout Mistress as she reads the letter, and then reaches up to tug on the arm on her arm. "Rei... what does it say? Who could possibly have known to send us a letter way out here?", she asked, a confused look on her face.
