Did everyone else pay attention to Kumi's destruction of the creatures ability to ambulate? You need to go for that level of destruction to deal with zombies. Failing that I suppose complete obliteration of its body works too.

Ellie, someone around here needs to teach you how to make a dimensional pocket. *A small strip of cloth, needle, and a thread appear in Rei's hand and then seem to set themselves to work on their own. The needle stitches a pocket onto her uniform.* That should be linked to your original pocket so you can get your weapon.

Right, so onward. *Walks deeper into the forest expecting everyone to follow.*

"I just assumed you'd send them out with pokeballs and start grabing random people making them into pokegirls.."

Either, both, neither, its really up to you. I really intend for this to be a bit of an adventure and educational experience. We are also going to be studying some of the plants and such that grow in here. I know for a fact that an interesting firebulb grows deep in this forest. There are also some iron wood trees along with some other useful plants and the like.

Well I suppose that comes from burning out most of your creative ideas during creation, yes? In my defense, I was once tempted to turn you into a hookah but remembered I don't have any personas that smoke in this age.

*Turns around and catches a zombie that had come upon her by the back of the head. With a modicum of draconian strength she slams its skull into a nearby tree leaving a nice little red splotch. She pulls back her hand as the blood on it burns away and lets the body fall.* This tree, my dears, is an iron wood tree. It is a helpful plant that can be used for quite a lot of things. Boats, buildings, weapons, and so on and so forth. Pole weapons in particular can be made out of it though I've always found it better used for scabbards and clubs. I prefer the staff of a pole weapon to have a bit more bend than you will get out of this stuff. Anyone have any questions?

Ah, good question. How they collect from these trees varies from world to world and even technological age. While it makes a great ship hull, for instance, there are still sufficient levels of impact that can knock limbs loose from the tree and obviously plasma or lasers can cut through it regardless. The proper and easiest way is the oldest though. *She places her hand against the tree and begins to say something to it and a branch seems to fall off and float down for her to grab.* Please note I'm not using any unique powers select to myself or any race really. In fact humans were the first to work out how to make the request verbally.

And I suppose turning you into something female themed is original, Kether? Heh. My specialty has always been personally shapeshifting rather than worrying about turning others into stuff. I tend to save that for threats and punishments. Still, if you are so hard up on it I suppose I could turn you into a unicorn for kicks. *Nods to herself.* Yes, a purple unicorn too. Maybe make you write reports every so often. I do think someone did give me that Celestia form so it could even be a theme.

Nova blinks in surprise as the tree drops a branch for Rei.

Ideally yes. You want these kinds of trees to last a long time. Preferably from the birth of a nation til at least its fall if not longer. I remember there was once a kingdom that survived for at least four generations solely on the fact they had a forest of these kinds of trees, knew how to harvest from them, and exported some to other countries. Sadly I think its neighbors burnt it all to the ground about two generations after that stopped being viable with some new magitech. A shame really too since their magic circuits would have been nearly triple the effectiveness if passed through a vine that grows on these trees rather than that metal cabling they were using.
