Muffin Scouts

[Raleigh]

*Rei says nothing but the zombie raptor that walks back to the group seems to growl at them a bit. It does look a lost worse for wear than it started out though what with most of its front still dissolving in some sort of caustic blood. Since it is undead though it likely doesn't even feel the damage. It would seem it is still hungry.*

[Blaze]

Nova shrieks in fear as the raptor approaches, her body becoming wreathed in blue flames.

"G-Get away!"

She throws her arms forward towards it, a massive blue fireball erupting from her palms!

[Kumi-chan]

*Kumi watches Nova stricks the raptop with a fireball Kumi watches. Seems the girl isn't defenseless.* My turn. *draws a portal down, holding it in front of her hand and rushes up, slashing at the raptop. Aiming for its legs to slow it down.*

[Harri-chan]

Ellie started to panic. She dashed back and forth as Nova and Kumi attacked the zombie raptor with their powers, "Rei!".

[Raleigh]

*The zombie raptor (henceforth known as zomtor) is pushed back by the flames and seems to let out a scream at being set alight by the blue flames. As it turns toward the source of the flames though it is hit by Kumi's portal blade causing it to crumble to the ground. As it lies there trying to get up on at least one almost certainly useless leg it continues to be consumed by the flames that have touched it. It would seem the two together have done well enough in dealing with zomtor.*

Raleigh's Voice: Calm down there Ellie. I'm alright. It just killed me so no worries. Hang on a moment and I'll be back with all of you. Let's see, find my corpse and then... do de dah... Dragon Heart. *There is a flash of light off in the woods a bit from the kids as they can here Rei cough a bit before hearing her moving about to come back.*

[Kether]

"Silly Rei you take equipment damage from that"

[Kumi-chan]

Come on little raptor. I'm not done yet. *grins at it, wickedly.* Come on. if that's all you got Then I'll just have to take you apart then. *Kumi doesn't really pay much attention to Rei. She sits on the zomtor's back and begins to slowly dig her portal sword into the back of its head. Would hurt like all if it was alive alive, humming a little song to herself, one unknown to most.*

[Raleigh]

Wrong Dragon Heart ability. *Rei walks up to the group.* Besides, even if it was the correct one I have a little item known as 'Sacrifice' on my person that takes the place of my equipment. Once it breaks I summon a copy of it as its a minor bauble with a nice speedy enchantment on it.

Go Kumi, bloody up the area if you would. I want to see it suffer. *The creature cries out more in panic as Kumi begins carving into it.* Also, everyone earned some badges just then. We have the 'Saw our mentor killed near the start of the adventure' badge for all three of you. Kumi and Nova get the 'Avenge fallen mentor' badge as well as the 'Violence solves everything' badges. Ellie, you get the 'I panic' badge. Kumi gets an extra badge for being vicious and vindictive.

[Blaze]

Nova breaths a sigh of relief as Rai gets up, the flames fading away.

"Phew... O-Oh! Thanks!"

She bows to Rei

[Raleigh]

*Nods in return to the girl.* Also, let me assure you all that it won't happen again. I just had to get that bit out of the way. *Some of the blood from the zombie is being pulled toward Raleigh and collected for some reason.* So we have those monsters Kether mentioned, the zombies/evil dead, raptors, and surely some other critters. This'll be fun. Maybe everyone will level up while we are here.

[Blaze]

Nova blinks, gulps and nods.

"I suppose I should be prepared then..."

She takes a small axe-shaped charm from around her wrist and heats it with blue fire. It expands massively, becoming her massive axe Nebula!

[Harri-chan]

Ellie continued to watch the beaten zombie raptor with a hesitant expression, before hurrying to avoid being left behind by the group. "Rei... my energy sword was in the pocket of my jeans... before you turned then into a dress without pockets!".

Being what now? Ohh right. *she drills into the zomtor's head digging around with the portal.* Lets see here audio control. motor skills. passive body control. Ahh primal instincts. *crunch.* Well if I know zombies. And I do. It is dead.

[Raleigh]

Pokegirls. Keep in mind I mean the slightly human like monsters and not the other interpretation of the concept though.

Did everyone else pay attention to Kumi's destruction of the creatures ability to ambulate? You need to go for that level of destruction to deal with zombies. Failing that I suppose complete obliteration of its body works too.

Ellie, someone around here needs to teach you how to make a dimensional pocket. *A small strip of cloth, needle, and a thread appear in Rei's hand and then seem to set themselves to work on their own. The needle stitches a pocket onto her uniform.* That should be linked to your original pocket so you can get your weapon.

Right, so onward. *Walks deeper into the forest expecting everyone to follow.*
