Muffin Scouts

[Raleigh]

*Raleigh, in the form of Rei made up to look like the current avatar picture, stands there dressed in a scout leader uniform.*

Alright, lets see if any young people sign up for this. Surely every youngin' wants to earn some badges, engage in extortion ala sell cookies, and wear psuedo-military uniforms.

((Yep, I'm making a version of the girl scouts for Muffinville. Why? Because I'm bored and have a rather large back of M&M's beside of me that might be giving me a bit of a sugar high and leading me to act a smidge loonier than usual.))

[Kumi-chan]

This sounds oddly amusing Rei. *steps in being Kumi of course. Her normal form, flicking her hand over her shoulder.* Perhaps I can get K some cookies. He loves snacks.

[Raleigh]

Alrighty. How many boxes you want? Remember, if you buy several some starving critters somewhere might get fed the scraps of leftover food our charity money goes to purchase for warlords in troubled nations.

[Kumi-chan]

Why not wait and let one of the kiddies sell me some? Whenever one shows up.

[Harri-chan]

Elliot was stood behind Raleigh, sniggering to himself, and taking pictures of the girl scout leader with the camera on his phone, "Cute dress!".

[Raleigh]

*As Elliot looks he will notice the picture that the phone depicts is of himself as a little girl wearing a similar outfit to the one Rei is wearing.* Good news Kumi, my first scout just arrived. Feel free to buy cookies from her. Ellie, glad you could join your scout master. Heh.

[Harri-chan]

Elliot stared at the picture in confusion, lowering the phone slightly to compare it to the girl scout in the flesh. It took a while, but he eventually recognised the girl in the picture, and let out a moan as looked down to see it in the flesh. "I thought I didn't work for you anymore...", she muttered as she examined the boxes of cookies. Looking back up to Kumi she let out a hefty sigh. "How many do you want, Miss?".

[Raleigh]

You don't. Doesn't mean I can't turn you into stuff though at random when you happen upon whatever shenanigan I'm in at the moment. Be happy, I really did used to turn people into toads and newts.

[Harri-chan]

"Well... I guess this is better than being a frog... ", she muttered, turning the box of cookies over in her hands before glancing back to Rei. "Why do I get the impression any scout troop led by you is going to work a little differently?".

[Raleigh]

Either because you know me, have realized physics are more like guidelines when I'm around rather than rules, or have woman's intuition. Take your pick. *She smiles.* Once you sell those cookies and earn your 'coerce adults into buying crap through the puppy dog eye's technique' badge I think we will work on monster wrangling.

[Harri-chan]

"I assume there's plans to... ", she hesitates a moment, glancing at Kumi, and then back to Rei, "... recruit more scouts, right? Because I have an idea... ", she said, but left it at that, and instead simply concentrated, knowing the Scout Leader would be able to read her mind. After all, she'd had to go to some pretty extreme lengths in the past to avoid Raleigh doing that.

[Raleigh]

Aye, there are several plans. I'm going to send out feelers to see if any young folks will join in. I'm sure the survival skills all who sign up for this will earn are useful. If nothing else those that join learn to survive following along with reality warpers and the like.

[Kumi-chan]

*ponders and shrugs.* I suppose three with some kind of chocolate chip type ones.

[Harri-chan]

Ellie nodded, and walked over to the piles of boxes, picking up three of the chocolate chip varieties. With a smile, she set them before Kumi, and held a hand out to take her money, "Why don't you try one now, Miss? Maybe you'll like them so much you'll want even more than three boxes", she suggested in her most cheery tone.

[Kumi-chan]

*takes the boxes of cookies as she hands over the money.* Well, I was going to give them to K. He loves this kind of cookies. But I suppose eating a box would be fine. *sets two of the boxes into a portal, and the third on top of it opening the box up.* Either of you want some? *pulls out one of the cookies, looking at it for a moment before eating it.*
