Hey Lucy~ Merah Comes a Calling!

[Blaze]

Lucy puts an arm around the girl and settles down to watch the movie.

It's... okay. The plot is kinda paper thin and the characters are kinda bland but there are lots of bright visuals and show and dance routines!

[Vomica]

Merah doesn't seem at all concerned with the lack of actual depth in the movie! The music numbers and bright colors obviously hold her attention the most. Every few seconds she glances at Lucy with a grin -- but then pulls her gaze back to the screen. As if not sure which to look at. Her friend... or the movie.

[Blaze]

Lucy doesn't find the movie all that engrossing really, but Merah likes it! So she's quite happy to stay and watch. At least the popcorn is good.

[Vomica]

Merah eventually settles for nestling to Lucy as much as she can manage -- her eyes and ears on the film. It's likely to be over soon, or at least, not unless something unexpected happens.

[Blaze]

The movie ends with no surprises! The hero gets the girl, the villain is gone, (his death implied, but not shown. This is a kid's movie!) and all the other problems neatly solve themselves. The lights come back on and people stand and stretch before leaving.

"Like it?" Lucy asks

[Vomica]

Merah nods a few times, "I loved it! It was great! ...I really liked the plot~!" Giggling a bit, she blinks and says "...the cinematographer coulda used work... but..." She trails off, and gets to her feet "But it was fun regardless!"

[Blaze]

Lucy smiles.

"Glad you liked it. Now, I believe we were gonna go shopping for camping supplies~?"

[Vomica]

Merah hops out of her seat at that, "Right! We're gonna need flash lights, and sleeping bags, and tents, and marshmellows, and chairs, and firewood, and oh gosh this is gonna be so awesome!" ^^

[Blaze]

Lucy laughs and puts her arm around Merah, steering her out of the movie theatre.

"Settle down girl! We don't wanna forget anything important~"

[Vomica]

Merah pauses at that, and gives several nods "...right! Right! We gotta make sure we're totally prepared for this after all!"

[Blaze]

Lucy smiles and nods, leading Merah to a hunting and fishing store! Most of the customers are tall burly manly men.

"Okay... we'll need tents, pots and pans, flares in case we get lost..."

[Vomica]

Merah glances around, and says "...if I know anything about this world... it's that a high concentration of guys like this won't likely end well for them." She slips into the store, "And something to keep us dry would be good. And maybe an emergence radio..."

[Blaze]

Lucy giggles and ruffles Merah's hair.

"Don't be so pessimistic, I'm sure they'll be okay. And that's good plan."

She goes over to the tents and examines them.

"Which of your sisters is coming again?"

[Vomica]

She blinks at that, and umms "...I think it was Viola and Indy. I can't recall precisely though!" She blushes slightly, and giggles nervously "...I can't imagine Indy out in the woods though."

[Blaze]

"Right, okay~"

Lucy grabs two two-man tents.

"One for us and one for them?"
