Hunt for Green Baracuda

In her office within Niflheim Tower, Fimbulvetr looks out over the city, a glass of brandy in her hand which she swirls contemplatively. She looks down at the street, watching as people are overcome by the psychic waves eminationg form the MORPHEUS. Thankfully, her office is shielded from such things. Wouldn't look good if she fell prey to something she helped create no?

"Hmhmhmhmhmhm... this should be interesting. And I do so love watching something I help make come to life and fufil it's function."

[Feng]

From Niflheim Tower Fimbulvetr may notice that the psychic wave has covered the entire beach and boardwalk areas of the city and is slowly creeping its way onto the mainland. Not that she has anything to worry about considering her safeguards.

The CTC drones are also able to receive a good view of the wave's effects. Down below one droid might notice the unconscious form of Miki lying face down in the sand. Another may spy a motionless Elliot amongst the bodies in a small television shop near the pier. The only conscious entity is a strange Gardevoir girl heading towards the shoreline.


Konoko finds that the strange energy source is coming from the ocean. Unfortunately, its too far out to swim to...


"Charmed" replies the boy, gently shaking Elliot's hand. "Unfortunately I'm not quite sure I know what he is up to. Sorry about that..."


The mysterious man happily obliges, taking a few steps out of the sun!

"The sun has done wonders for your skin" he says with a smile. "It compliments your raven hair!"


Deep beneath the ocean blue, Bones spies on the chaos via periscope.

"Most excellent" he mutters. "Everyone appears to be unconscious."

"Sir!" pipes up a Chibi officer. "Our spy has confirmed that the CTC have dispatched a search party. What are your orders?"

"So the CTC have decided to play Hide and Seek eh? Excellent! Tell HQ to release the sea urchins!"

Elliot clasped the Akihiko's hand, while using the other to brush the loose blonde hair back from his face, "No need to apologise... ", he said, finding it hard to take his eyes off the boy. "I'm sure we'll find out soon enough... but it could be too late by then". He chewed his bottom lip, reluctantly letting go of the other boy's hand, "I should probably go and warn the council... I don't suppose you've got a car and could give me a ride?".

Konoko finds that the strange energy source is coming from the ocean. Unfortunately, its too far out to swim to...

Konoko stares out at the ocean and thinks for a moment. Smiling, she tosses her clothes off to reveal a swimsuit. After which, she jumps into the water and shoots on towards the source, her curiosity strong~

[Maiden Miki]

"Thanks. I don't burn so it helps," said Miki as she looked around and then said, "Still I wasn't at the beach......I was at the park."

Konoko's plot device senses are tingling as she swims up North towards a curious flashing beacon that bobs innocently in the waves. Could this be the source of all the chaos?


"My car is out front" says the boy smiling. "I'd be happy to drive you to work!"


"Really?" says the man, clearly confused as he looks at the waves crashing against the white sand. "Looks like the beach to me. Why else would you be wearing that cute yellow bikini?"

"A cute yellow bikini?" said Miki who was clearly confused. She at once moved one of her rabbit ears out of the way of her face as she looked down. "I should be wearing a blue leotard."

The CTC drones are also able to receive a good view of the wave's effects. Down below one droid might notice the unconscious form of Miki lying face down in the sand. The CTC drones start examining the incapacitated individuals! A medical team is dispatched from the Crisis Command Centre by vertol, flying towards the beach to try and tend to the civilians. Meanwhile, one drone that spots Konoko starts floating after her!

Deep under the ocean, a blue submarine slips almost silently through the water, its engines barely humming.

"Deploy decoys."

Three underwater drones deploy, producing identical signatures to the original submarine. To any underwater senses, there'll appear to be four identical submarines now...

[Raleigh]

*Sitting in his office on the second highest floor of DrakeCorp HQ, Raleigh turns to look out on the mess.* I still preferred my zombie plot I think. Mind control of humans is a bit on the easy route and not messy enough. No one gets eaten.

[Blaze]

Fimbulvetr is in fact able to see these things! She may only have one eye, but it's a good one. A gynoid in traditional secretary garb enters, clutching a clipboard computer.

"Miss Fimbulvetr, what are your orders?"

"Call back everyone to the tower. I don't want anyone lost to a weapon I help made."

"Right away ma'am."

The secretary taps at the keyboard, sending a withdraw command to all employees of Niflheim, either though their computer brains or implants.

[Feng]

Bones would inform Raleigh that his plan is more complex than simple mind control but he is not a telepath. Alas.


Fimbulvtr's employees should successfully return to the tower before the wave reaches them. Raoul-Tan, still an employee of Niflheim industries, walks over to her employer.

As it turns out Miki IS wearing a yellow bikini!

"Leotard?" inquires the man, clearly confused? "You were wearing that when I arrived... Out of curiosity is this your first time wearing it? No offense, but the tan lines give away your secret."


The drones should encounter no resistance to their mission of goodwill. Fortunately, none of the victims appear seriously injured. The drones might notice that some of the male victims' hair is slowly growing in length. How strange...

Meanwhile, the Blue Steel's radar depicts a mass of objects before it. If the crew were to gaze out the windows they would spot a forest of mines before them! Oh noes!

Oh well. I have nothing better to do for now. *He turns around and is suddenly standing next to Bones aboard the GB.* Yo.

"What secret?" asked Miki who decided to try to get information instead of revealing too much.

Fimbulvetr is being asked that same question! Not just by field agents, but by scientists, engineers and those with friends not employed by Niflheim!

"Calm down everyone, this energy is something I helped create. I just called you all back to ensure you didn't get caught up in it. Those who have friends may take a telepathic shield and go out to them if they wish. I assure you, no physical harm will be caused by this energy."

Konoko pouts at this, crossing her arms and sitting down next to it. She had hoped that she would come across some people around the source to bother, but it looked like that was a no go. Hmming to herself, she looked around the area some more.
