Blaze's hair frizzes up from all the static!

"... am I hearing things, or was there a plea for help in that burst?"

Seeing the hole in space, she slooooowly reaches her hand out to it.

"Don't cut my hand off, don't cut my hand off..."

[KonokoHasano]

Chisame leaps onto Blaze's black amongst this. "Why would it cut off your hand?"

[Mendi-chan]

*Steps between Blaze and the anomaly. *
Blaze, my hand can be rebuilt... yours can't...
And don't say that you 'made' me. Makes you sound like my mother... >_>

In any case... this thing looks pretty dangerous.

[Narrator]

The hole continues to crackle slightly...but does nothing more, at least not yet.

[Blaze]

Blaze stares at the portal over Mendo's shoulder and frowns.

"In that case, you put your hand in it."

[Mendi-chan]

*He frowns*
You're rather keen on poking this thing, aren't you?... Fine, if you insist, I'll prod it. But if I lose my hand, you're going to be the one rebuilding it.
*The ninja extends his mechanical hand forward, trying to reach into the thing and discern... well... anything really. It was a bit enigmatic.*

[Narrator]

Poking his hand through, Mendokusee at first feels nothing...and then quite a number of things! Conflicting sensations, hot/cold, wind/stillness wetness/dryness! After a moment it seems to settle back to nothing...but then there is another -Krashhhhtmessssstndo-...and the hole swirls, growing, starting to engulf hum!

[Blaze]

"Boss!"

Blaze tries to grab Mendo and pull him away from the portal!

[Vomica]

Merah finally starts to move, "...it's a really really bad idea to mess around with disruptions of the space-time fabric. It's not even stable! We're talking a Riemann manifold with a variable curvature! And we know it's a non-zero value! Do you know how dangerous that is!" D:

[Narrator]

Dangerous indeed! There's no chance of Blaze pulling his prize android from the clutch of the--

-Thud-

--Er. Never mind. With surprising ease, Blaze tears Mendokusee from the hole in the wind, landing on the ground somewhat inelegantly as the anomaly fades.into nothingness.

For a long moment, this seems to be the end of it, before--

-KRSHSHSHHKKSSHT-

All around the four of them, the air seems to bend and tear, static starting to swirl around them!

[Blaze]

Blaze immediately starts to inspect Mendo for any damage.

"Are you okay? All systems working?"

Looking around as reality starts to lose focus, she groans.

"Awesome... we broke space-time."

[Mendi-chan]

*Mendo reaches his hand to his head*
I think I'm fine... Though, in retrospect, it probably wasn't a good idea to poke that.

[Marky]

Wandering around Muffinville, still a cute little kitty-girl, blinks as she wanders upon the group...and the swirling static, a confused and worried look on her face. "What'th going on?"

[Narrator]

The cat will see...static! As the four in close proximity start to slicker with it, seeming to fade slow...out. She could approach closer, but would that be prudent? Only time will tell!


Baze, Mendo, Merah, and Chisame meanwhile, may feel a bit nauseous, it's like they're being pulled in all directions...as around them the world fades! And hopefully something actually interesting happens next post!

[Vomica]

Merah seems to be affected much more than the others -- as not just her senses of the physical are distorted -- but her subtle senses that detect that beyond the mundane are scrambled as well. The girl holds her temple with one hand, as her eyes close shut as if in a bad headache. She wobbles, and leans against Blaze or Mendo -- whatever one it is. She can't tell through her confusion.
