A Little Bit of Art

[Raleigh]

*Raleigh can be found once more at one of his favorite points. On a hill overlooking the city of Muffinville but rather than cackling maniacally or leading a horde of minions he is standing in front of an easel painting a landscape.* It never works. I can create a perfect likeness but that is hardly useful. How do the mortals do this? *Rips off the current canvas and replaces it.* Okay, I know what it looks like at night so perhaps trying to imitate a bit of Starry Night with it? *Sets to painting only to wind up with a proper scene of the city below at night including correct astrological positioning of the stars for that night.*

[Raleigh]

Hm? *Looks at his portrait a bit miffed that he can't even remotely do anything artistic. However in the process he notices something wrong.* Oh crap. *He seems to shrink and get pulled into the painting.* Bloody mother fu*****, I forgot to use normal ink.

Dorian wanders onto the scene, wondering just what is going on, she sits on the painting.

[Raleigh]

*Dorian will suddenly find herself on a street of Muffinville at night time. Something seems decidedly off about the air perhaps a bit stagnant possibly but otherwise it seems normal enough. Perhaps a few hours were lost to something?*

Dorian blinks and looks about, "How odd... how did I end up here?" She decides to look about to see what's going on.

[Maiden Miki]

"Hmm...Excuse me?" said Mia as she was inspecting the forgotten painting. She looked around and said, "Excuse me? Did somebody forgot their painting? Hello?"

[Raleigh]

*Dorian will probably spot a building nearby that shows some signs of activity. It would appear to be a dance hall. Lively music thrums through the walls and she can hear people talking.*

*A vortex begins to reach out of the painting toward Mia in an attempt to pull her in.*

"Oh dear! Not again," said Mia as she tries to walk away but was unable to.

Dori smiles happily as she makes a beeline to the voices and the building they're in.

[Raleigh]

*Mia will find herself in the same location on the street of Muffinville at night as Dorian had earlier. The air seems somewhat stagnant and nothing seems to be happening immediately around her. She might be able to make out Dorian quite a bit further down the street about to enter a building.*

*As Dorian opens the door she will find herself entering what appears to be a dance club. For all the noise and lively voices though something is obviously wrong. While the sound carries all the people seem to be still life portraits just staying in place in the middle of whatever they were doing. Over there is a couple frozen in mid dance while next to a bar the bartender is frozen in place mixing a drink while a patron is picking up their glass.*

*Mia will find herself in the same location on the street of Muffinville at night as Dorian had earlier. The air seems somewhat stagnant and nothing seems to be happening immediately around her. She might be able to make out Dorian quite a bit further down the street about to enter a building.*

"OH! Excuse me! please hold on!" yelled Mia as she began to run after the person that she sees going into the building. "Excuse me! Do you know what is going on here?"

Dori was inside by then, so only has this to say, "They're not moving."

[Raleigh]

*Mia might decide to follow the person she saw into the building. Dori will notice that no one seems to respond to her not even the people she can hear talking and carrying on as if this is a lively dance floor seem to shift focus or tone to acknowledge she is there. Needless to say she probably finds this a bit creepy or amusing depending upon her nature.*

Mia goes into the building trying to find the person. She began to whisper, "Hello. Anybody here please?"

She is initially freaked out before becoming curious, "I wonder if there's some advantage to this."
