"It must have reached the science labs..." the teacher mutters grimly, trying to make sure everyone filed out neatly.
"Don't panic everyone! Just procede to the fields in an orderly manner!" he yells.

Kaitlyn pockets the phone, relieved that emergency services are on the scene. She remains somber for a moment, still thinking about that arm... *shudder*
"Hey Jessica?" Kaitlyn says, finally breaking the somber silence of the car. "Be careful driving okay?"
Knight Errant wrote:Dan pauses... wondering a bit at that... but well. Money was money. And if it fell through well... well its not like he wasted much time.
"Right... I guess I could head in today. I'll need directions to the place. Also any particular dresscode?"
The passing thought enters his head that this might be a prank pulled by his friends... but... whatever.

He walks over toward the museum and approaches the back of the line, wondering what could have caused so many people to come to it on this particular day.
He steps up behind whoever is at the end of the line and clears his throat. "Hey, what's with this line?" he asks.

...then he hears that same song as the last store... he looks over to the building and murmurs "...that is so unsettling." He checks to see what that store is. Then keeps going on his, at this point not so merry, way.
Windyuki wrote:Elton stumbles as the explosion hits before righting himself and walking out far more quickly. "Not good, not good at all." he mutters. If the school's too damaged he might have to miss a lot, or go somewhere else. That'll throw off the whole year, and with college admissions coming up... Elton sighs and keeps walking in line. Best to just go with the flow and do whatever happens.

The group arrives at their place of work, a large office building, with nothing else happening. Jessica parks the car and get's out, same with Ben.
"... feel like calling in sick..." Ben mutters.

Blaze wrote:Soon, Elton emerges from the building into the dreary sunlight. THe students around him are babbling loudly, some are sobbing quietly as another explosion, this one larger then the last, rattles the building and causing several to scream loudly.
Once out on the field, the teachers take a roll call to make sure no one was left behind.

Knight Errant wrote:Dan raises an eyebrow... what a female dog. "Right... I'll be there as soon as I can." He hangs up the phone. Looking at it... he had a bad feeling about this... but... really whats the worst that could happen?
Shrugging, he heads back into the bathroom, giving himself a shave and freshening up. Then heading to his dresser he gets... dressed! In jeans, and after some consideration, a T Shirt.
Getting his wallet and keys, he heads out of his apartment... getting in his car and following the directions! Looking for this bar...
Shadowmaster wrote:"Gee...thanks." Paul says sarcastically. "I meant, what in the museum is attracting so many people? It's usually not this busy." he adds.
Zilla wrote:Kaitlyn takes a look at Ben to assess how he's feeling. "I know... that was pretty grim." She'd never seen an accident that bad before. This one was right alongside their workday route... It just made her uneasy. "Be strong, buddy. Maybe work will take your mind off of it?" Kaitlyn liked to look for the positive, and she didn't particularly feel like getting back on the road after seeing that mess.
Windyuki wrote:"It's not like we won't all die sooner or later." Elton mutters to himself as he waits for his name. "If it's beyond our control, then it's just best to ignore it and let what happens happen. What's worse than the immediate problem is the trouble left over for those who get out..." Despite his words, which he makes sure are quiet enough such that they shouldn't be overheard, Elton does seem a tad nervous as he glances around from building to building. His rationalized apathy doesn't seem to penetrate fully into the more emotional parts of his psyche.
"Here!" He says as the teacher calls his name.
Vomica wrote:Matthew stops walking, and peers at this third building. Is their radios broken or something? This makes no sense. ...hmm. It might be a prank. A pirate signal on all frequencies He shakes his head once, then speaks into the phone "Oh! That sounds great hun. I'll be early!"
The man then starts walking again... picking up the pace. Something in the back of his head is put off by that music.

Blaze wrote:"Sarah Fielder isn't here." Elton's teacher whispers, all color having faded from her face. Elton may remember the quiet studious girl that only spoke when spoken to in his class.
At that moment, a third, much bigger explosion rocks the school and a large section of it-the area where Elton's class was included-collapses.
