A Test

[Raleigh]

Greetings and salutations. As I'm sure most of you know my house regularly gets stolen at times if I'm not watching it constantly. I have decided to implement a security system to watch after the place but I need it to be tested. So here I invite all of those of you who fancy yourselves thieves to sign up and try to break into my house here in Muffinville or even my office at DrakeCorp if you feel daring enough for bonus points. Nothing lethal will be implemented in my house but I can't say the same about my office. Who wants to give a go at this little game? If you succeed I'll even call you a proper phantom thief type heh.

Kazuya appears outside the DrakeCorp offices, "I guess it's time to get to work..." he said, clapping his hands together. He could have teleported in but assumed that some security would be in his way. He decided to approach from the east side of the buildling and tried to phase through to the inside of it.

[Vomica]

Og-ra's attention is perked. The mountain of a man. The man who is often confused as an ogre in a suit and monocle. The man who offers his services out to the highest bidder. He has deemed this challenge worthy of his skills and resources.

He is a professional, the man, on principle, will not mess with another's professional place of work. So a house call is in order! The eight foot tall human lurks outside Raleigh's house... bidding his time.

[Raleigh]

*Kazuya manages to phase through the wall on the ground floor and probably notes that the security people simply look at him in a bored manner. It would seem they aren't so much worried about people simply phasing through a wall on the lobby level. If he were to look up or down though he might sense areas that it is almost impossible to phase into at all or that seem to have something woven over them to do something should someone phase through them.*

*Og-ra will find himself outside of a nice looking house. What it looks like exactly depends on what Og-ra is expecting a house Raleigh to live in to appear as. One thing that is constant though is the impression of two levels to the house with a front and back entrance. As he looks over he will no doubt see the rather abundant garden to the sides of the house and the back. Out in front there is a small fountain of water flowing about. What possible threat could this alone pose eh?*

Kazuya notes this and searches the area. Eventually, he got bored of trying to figure out what was going to happen. He looked up and decided to phase through the phaseable yet enchanted roof areas, "It's probably just some TF spell... it's not likely to affect me too much this early on..." he thought.

[Miku-chan]

*Zatsune seems to pop up In Raleigh's chair at his DrakeCorp office...*'Wonder why the old man fells the need to test out such high level security?' she says to herself as she starts to rifle thru his desk...

Og-ra does his research. Raleigh is a being of power and influence, and very unlikely just a man. Knowing from experience that a person of such a position wouldn't leave things unguarded... he knows it's trapped. He mutters to himself, "...however he would entertain guests..." With that the several hundred pound man of pure muscle approaches the front door! ...and knocks on the the door if he makes it that far.

[Raleigh]

Because, my dear, I thought it could be amusing to see not only who would try but how they would. *Raleigh appears next to Zatsune.*

*Kazuya might be happy to note that his body didn't change at all after phasing into the room he had found himself in. What he might find disturbing is that it had triggered a form of alarm but that isn't obvious at the moment. The room he is standing in looks to be a small chemistry type lab or perhaps alchemy would be a better term in this case. It had the stereotypical setup present of beakers and Bunsen burners though there was various out of place tools present as well. A few sprigs of plants no doubt collected to match arcane specifications, diagrams on walls detailing a successful method of turning lead into gold followed by an even more convoluted one for turning gold into something else, and an open book concerning the creation of magical ammo. Likely this is a portion of the R&D division specializing in weapons creation.*

*Og-ra might feel like he is being watched by something in the fountain but nothing is immediately apparent. The door opens after a short bit of time to reveal something of a sylph answering it.* Sylph: Greetings. How might those in attendance to this place aid you?

Kazuya walks around the room and examines the various items closely. After this he decides he's wasted his time and looks for the closest exit out of the room.

[Miku-chan]

"Kinda figgured it was something like that, so like my simulacrum project? Full remote access, none of the feedback from injury or distance strain thought this might be a good test for it." Zatsune says thru the doll

[Raleigh]

It is quite good my dear but other than information what could it steal?

*Kazuya's exit leads out into a hallway and a few dozen guards standing there waiting for him. They all seem to be holding a mildly offensive stance waiting for him to make a move with a hand on some weapon that seems to be personal choice per guard. One steps forward with his hand still placed on what appears to be a stun gun that is strapped to his belt.* Guard: I believe you must have taken a wrong turn somewhere sir. Would you follow us?

[Miku-chan]

"Oh, a bit of this, a pinch of that, plus most tech based alarm systems can't get a 'lock on it' because of 'void' sheilding and a couple tricks you taught Miku a while back." her arm opens up to reveal Raleighs letter opener and a couple focus crystals keeping it hidden

[Vomica]

*Og-ra might feel like he is being watched by something in the fountain but nothing is immediately apparent. The door opens after a short bit of time to reveal something of a sylph answering it.* Sylph: Greetings. How might those in attendance to this place aid you?

Og-ra head tilts for a moment. He gives the woman a smile though after she greets him, and replies "I am Og-ra my fine lady, and I was given an open invitation by Raleigh himself." He gives a tip of his hat, "Perhaps it was inappropriate of me to come calling without prior notifications. But sometimes formalities cannot be observed." The mountain of a person adds, "...I apologize for that."

[Raleigh]

Nice. You do know you had something of an advantage over the others in knowing where in this building my office is. Though come to think of it I thought Kazuya knew too but he seems to be taking his time getting here. Can I have my letter opener back? It was a gift from an old friend after all.

Sylph: No worries sir. Come right in and I will guide you to the waiting room. The master isn't in yet so I will let him know you have arrived. Relax as you are no bother for if you had been a threat the kraken and the other water folk in the fountain would have likely stopped you before you got to the door or you would have tried to traipse through the garden only to have to deal with the snap dragons that are hidden within it.

Kazuya teleports behind the guards and runs through the hallways, then jumping through the ceiling and landing on the next level. He had a barrier cast so the guns couldn't hit him.
