[Raleigh]

*Raleigh walks out onto a little field set aside a small way out of town in the form of a small nearly 5 year old girl body with brown pigtails but wearing black goth loli style clothes.* Well then lets put this miserable shell through its paces. I think I've done what I can with it for the moment. Wouldn't do to go too far in such a temporary body. Now then, first strength. *Punches at a metal wall putting a nice dent into it.* Alright, that works. No need to test knowledge since that has proven to be intact to start with and eating a few of those fruits helped with any issues that could have been there anyway. Let's see... next I suppose would be magic yes?

Elenore: Boss, hurry up will ya. I want to have a good tussle again.

Raleigh: In a moment Ele. I want to make sure I'm not too messed up to play with you.

[AmbushCat]

*Eebon, and then Echo, arrive in the field via Elenore's shadow. The former falls to the ground, breathing heavily*

Eebon: About...stinking...time...gaw!

Echo: I tried to tell you that my Shadow Walk was off, but did you listen?

Eebon: Well, Eebon tried to tell you that she slipped, but--- ...oh. Hi Raleigh-girl, Elenore. Gaw. Whatcha doing?

[Raleigh]

Raleigh: I'm trying to get myself back up to working order at the moment. I lost a bet and had to relinquish my powers for a week. *She unleashes a massive blast of black energy into the metal wall from earlier tearing through it and obliterating the ground near the thing.*

Elenore: And I'm here to help test the boss once she is done working out some kinks.

[AmbushCat]

Eebon: *sweatdrops* And... what powers are we talking about, exactly? Gaw.

Echo: Is it okay if we stuck around and watched? Sister's school was cancelled again due to a stray tornado.

[Raleigh]

Raleigh: Sure it is fine. As for the powers more or less all of them. I'm only able to work magic right now because I have my sword on me and am using it as a form of mana battery and conduit. I still have all my knowledge of spells but sadly this form doesn't have the gift of magic. I'm ready to go Elenore if you are.

*Elenore's body shifts to her fighting state.* Elenore: You two might want to step back a bit. The boss can't create one of her barriers in this state.

[AmbushCat]

*Echo steps into Eebon's shadow before meowing something. The larger felinoid steps backward, dropping into her own shadow just far enough to be safe but close enough to still watch. The shadow, oddly, remains in place.*

[Raleigh]

Alright, here we go. *Elenore is almost tossed back as Raleigh barrels into her surrounded by shadows helping her to increase her speed. Elenore draws her sword and tries to remove Raleigh's head in a single slash. Raleigh ducks down and fires off a similar dark blast to earlier at Elenore's face.*

[AmbushCat]

*A pencil snakes in, trying to sharpen itself on Elenore's sword. Eebon's growling and some quiet scuffling noises are heard before the pencil jerks away and withdraws*

Eebon: Elk, stay out of this!

Elk's voice: Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry.

[Raleigh]

*Elenore puts up a shield quickly to handle the blast but is still knocked back from her boss. Raleigh stands back up to her short height and calls forth another sword from the one sheathed at her side. This one seeming a bit over large for her size before jumping at Elenore and releasing a flurry of sword swings. Elenore blocks though with her own sword.* Elenore: The soul survivor sword ehh? That means even if I land a lethal blow you'll survive it.

[AmbushCat]

Eebon: *jokingly* Can't say the same for whoever she faces in combat. Gaw.

Echo: What are you talking about?

Eebon: The soul survivor, Echo. Gaw.

Echo: ...You need a hobby, sister.

[Raleigh]

*The two continue with a rather fast paced sword battle before Elenore finally uses her greater strength to send Raleigh flying and losing her sword.* Elenore: Heh, I don't think you put in enough augments this time around boss.

Raleigh: Heh, maybe. Still, I don't lose. *Raleigh jumps up into the air.*

Elenore: Crap. Mower, Shield. *A shield very similar to the kinds Raleigh normally puts up forms in front of Elenore while Mower moves in front of the shadow the kids are watching from putting up another similar shield. Raleigh comes falling back down impacting on Elenore's shield. The moment she connects there is an eruption of power reducing most of the area into a four kilometer wide crater about a half kilometer deep.*

Raleigh: Heh, people forget my ultimate technique is purely physical. *Raleigh, in her little girl form, is standing over a sprawled out Elenore who looks rather beat up. Mower doesn't look much better but his shield had held up more.*

[AmbushCat]

Elk: *raises both hands out of Eebon's shadow* Boom badda boom boom boom! Ha ha!

[Raleigh]

You all alright over there? *She walks over and tosses a vial at Elenore's feet that breaks and releases a healing mist.* Looks like the time for this bet is more or less up too just as I got the body into working order. Anyone want some thing to eat before I go about returning to normal?

[AmbushCat]

Echo: *pokes his head out* A tuna cake, please.

Elk: *cheerfully* Yellowfin? Yellowfin tuna!

Eebon: Eh-heh... just some fruit punch for me, please. Gaw.

[Raleigh]

Alright. *Summons up the requested food through the sword at the moment.* Heh, I just now realized that while I had this form I could have learned how to cook. The food would only likely be toxic rather than sentient and out for blood like usual.
