You can always try and find a way around it. I understand women aren't impressed when someone just gives up and all that. Now then, Fairy Kazuya, could you help me a bit. I think I am supposed to be preparing for filing taxes right now.

"No problem boss..." the Fairy replied flying around her old, now new again master.

Kazuya just shrugs and opens a portal, "see you again laters I guess..." he said, deciding he had no more business to attend to.

[Blaze]

Nova blushes and goes into a deep bow before the fox spirit.

"H-Hello there..."

[Raleigh]

Fox Spirit: So how might I help you young one?

[Blaze]

"Um... well..."

Nova gulps and keeps talking

"I was thinking... I am part-fox, but I don't know much about them..."

[Raleigh]

Spirit Fox: I see. Are you seeking to learn of possible powers and traits you have, weaknesses, or perhaps just to connect to your heritage as a whole?

[Blaze]

"More the latter I think... but learning about that other stuff would be nice, if it's no trouble." Nova says.

[Raleigh]

Spirit Fox: Well I'm sure you know we are canine in nature though not quite the barbarous brutes that some of the other canines are. Omnivorous of course as well though I suspect you might find yourself with a fondness for fried tofu that a lot of us more aware ones possess. You will also find yourself lacking any particular desire to be around a great number of our own kind since we prefer to live as individual families rather than packs. Since you aren't a fox demon I will skip over the issues of the star ball and the tails representing your age and power. Our specialty, unlike the wolf who is more known for savagery and speed, lies in cunning and trickery. I can tell you already wield a bit of fox fire. Would you like me to elaborate more based around illusions instead?

*Raleigh coughs a few times at the digs against wolves.*

[Raleigh]

So who do I enlist to watch this place I wonder?

[Blaze]

Nova listens to the lecture carefully, nodding at the end.

''Oh... Yes, elaborate on illusions please?''

[Raleigh]

Fox Spirit: Well we have several that are typical but most of the ones we use are designed around playing tricks on our targets. If you are looking for an illusion that will cause the victim to die or enter into a permanent coma or something that really isn't our specialty. However if you were to desire an illusion that places you about three feet or so away from where you actually are or to appear as a different gender or form you should find these easily done. We can also create our own little 'worlds' if you will such as turning a spot in the woods into an inn to steal from passers by. There are several approaches that are almost as varied as the various families of fox. Some use a bit of their magic or spirit to enter the mind of a target and tell it what to see with a few claiming it is a more psychic type ability than most hold it to be. There are a few who seem to follow an approach similar to some of the humans, admittedly these ones have lived near humans more than most, and actually use some chemicals and the like that were prepared before hand to make the target highly suggestible and then influence what they see. I and most nearing my state actually just create illusions that all around us will see rather than just the target. The illusions are very real to anyone witnessing them to the point that they can interact with them. Am I helping here?

[Blaze]

Nova nods quickly.

"Very much! But, um... I don't know how to do these things..."

[Raleigh]

Fox Spirit: Ah, that I can help with I believe. First I want you to pick a target. Dra... err Ry... err... was it Raleigh here?

Raleigh: Yes.

Fox Spirit: Ah, would you be so kind as to not break her illusion and let her test her abilities on you?

Raleigh: Go ahead.

Fox Spirit: We will use Raleigh here for a target since he is the only one around that we know of for sure at the moment. Now I want you to think up an illusion you want to use first.

[Blaze]

Nova thinks for a moment before nodding.

"OKay... ready."

[Raleigh]

Fox Spirit: Now I want you to focus on that illusion and placing your target inside. Your natural talents should help project the desired effects. Just concentrate on the illusion, your target, and pay close attention. There are ways for them to slip out of an illusion if it doesn't keep up with them and respond after all.
