"Sounds great!" He said, following her in.

[Blaze]

Jean leads Light inside and sits at a table.

"I love Vietnamese food. The first meal I had after leaving the nunnery was at a Vietnamese restaurant."

[Bigmouthstrikes]

Light makes a mental note of this as he sits across from her.

"Nunnery? You were a nun? Why did you leave that?" He asked.

[Blaze]

Jean waggles her finger.

"I am still a nun! I just left to form the Exorcists."

[Bigmouthstrikes]

"Oh." He said sheepishly. "I apologize."

Shifting the conversation, he asked "Do you use holy powers as well?"

[Blaze]

"Of course! The dragon that created you even gifted me with an upgrade."

She makes her hands glow with holy power.

[Bigmouthstrikes]

"Very impressive." He said with a smile.

A waiter approached them. "What can I get you two?"

[Blaze]

Jean quickly scans the menu for her favorite foods, nodding happily.

I'll have some Vietnamese spring rolls for starters and Bò kho for my main meal please~"

"I'll take the same as her." Light ordered with a shrug. "So what would one do for money around here?"

[Blaze]

Jean smiles at the waitress and thinks for a moment.

"There's always hero work to be doing. Guard work, monster hunting and whatnot."

[Bigmouthstrikes]

"Oh. Well, I should be in good shape then, haha." He said. "Let me ask you something though...do monsters....sell for much around here?"

[Blaze]

Jean tilts her head.

"You mean live, or their parts?"

[Bigmouthstrikes]

"Live." He said. "My beastmaster job lets me train monsters."

[Blaze]

Jean nodnods.

"I am pretty sure they could fetch a good price to the right buyers."

[Bigmouthstrikes]

"Excellent." He said with a grin. "What do...you do around here?"
