Rosetta flipped her phone in and out. It had been a while since she'd sent her text asking him to meet her, and she still hadn't heard from him. Now she was checking every few minutes as she stood on the lamp lit park trail. It was getting late...

Rosetta's patience would be rewarded. A few moments after her latest frantic text-check, she hears a familiar voice call out from beyond the crest of the hill. Sure enough, Lance's familiar form emerges from the elongating shadows of a dwindling afternoon. He flashes an easygoing smile towards the girl as he sidles to her side. "Hey - sorry I'm late. I only just checked my phone a little bit ago... Is something wrong?"

"Hey!" She said looking up at him with a smile. "Everything's fine....erm...well, actually, I could use your help with something."

He grins again in reply, nodding quickly. "Sure. What can I do for ya?"

"Well," She said, "I have heard some rumors about some strange goings on here in the park around midnight. I'd go check it out by myself, but I'm afraid of getting in over my head, so I thought I'd ask for some back out. If we could make it out of the Man in White's castle together, we can do anything."

"Fair enough," he replies, grinning. "Though for some reason the details of that little escape still seem a little sketchy... But whatever. So.. We just hang here until Midnight?"

"Nope." She said. "You and I are going to take a hike up that hillside over there."

She points. "Then I'm going to teleport back down here and you're going to give me a feed on what you can see. I'll zap out of there if I get into too much trouble."

"I've been... Alright, I suppose," he replies. "Still trying to find my way around this crazy place... It can get a bit harrowing at times, especially when you don't know too many people around here." He pauses. "...To be honest, I'm glad to get the chance to see you. A friendly face is always appreciated, even if we are chasing ghosts and fairies." He chuckles.

Rosetta smiles and blushes slightly, though it would be hard to see in the dark. "Well, maybe we can do something normal sometime soon. I grew up here, so I can probably help you around..."

He shrugs. "Naaah. I enjoy doing crazy things when you're around. It's when I get forced into insane situations without anyone to do crazy things with that I end up getting upset."

"oh..." She said, sounding a tad disappointed. "Well, the look out point is just up ahead, so you'll get all kinds of chances for a crazy adventure soon."

He laughs. "Fun... Though now that you mention it... Perhaps a regular day out is in order after all. Maybe if we survive the night, we'll go grab a bite to eat for lunch tomorrow?" He flashes a genuine smile.

"Sounds great!" She said, a bounce returning to her step. As they reached the top, she walked toward a little metal shack that was set up.

"Well, I've got this set up. There are some super night binoculars that Nathan lent me right over there in the metal bucket." She handed something to him from her purse. It's about an inch long and feels kind of rubbery. "Stick this in your year, okay."
