Somewhere in Chibi Town

[Blaze]

Blaze leans back on her chair and thinks.

"Well... that does sound bad."

[Feng]

"Indeed. Should you agree to dispatch this threat, I shall pay you a handsome sum of 1,000,000 Hl as well as an advance of 250,000. I am also willing to provide any supplies needed in your mission, within reason of course. Does this sound fair?"

[Blaze]

Blaze thinks before nodding.

"Sounds good."

[Feng]

"Very well..." says Bones, as he reaches under the desk to grab a briefcase and a vanilla folder that he hands to Blaze. "Before you hunt down the sorcerer Stone Beak there are two individuals that I advise you seek out. First is the current avatar of the Smoking One, a female chibi by the name of Megan. Her favor with Smoking Toaster should come in handy in your mission. The other is an old acquaintance of mine, a shaman of the Penguin tribe who possesses considerable knowledge of the occult, especially information concerning the arts of the Chibi sorcerer. Were it not for the fact that he is getting on in years, I would have readily asked him to dispose of Stone Beak."

[Blaze]

Blaze take the envelope and the briefcase.

"I know Megan. And where can I find the shaman?"

[Feng]

"From last I heard, my old friend is working at a small clinic in the Chibi district. I'm afraid I can give you no further information other than that."

[Blaze]

Blaze nods.

"I'll track him down first. Anything else?"

[Feng]

"No, that should conclude our business for now. In the briefcase you fill find a small Codec, standard issue for all my minions. Use it to contact me should problems arise during your assignment. Also I have taken the liberty of providing transportation to the Chibi district as well. You can thank me later."

[Blaze]

Blaze rolls her eyes and stands.

"Right. If this is a trap..."

[Feng]

"If this WAS a trap, you would be much cuter right now. Anyways your mission awaits out the door you entered from. Go now, in the name of the city! I ain't paying you by the hour Mr. Exorcist..."

[Blaze]

Blaze scowls and steps out of the warehouse.

"... I'm cute enough..."

[Feng]

"Oh" says Bones as Blaze steps out the door. "Good luck, Mr. Exorcist."


As Blaze steps out through the door, a cleverly disguised Mail Portal in fact (which may explain the small office inside the warehouse) she will find herself just outside the entrance of the Chibi district.... 2000 feet above the entrance to be exact! Before she can dart back through the way she came, the portal to Bone's office automatically shuts down!

"Brrrr...." grumbles Bones, as he shuts the door behind Blaze, oblivious to the fact that the target destination is off key. "It sure is windy tonight!"

[Blaze]

Blaze falls to her death.

Oh wait, no she doesn't, she just uses her wings to fly.

"... I am gonna kill him."

[Feng]

As Blaze successfully avoids an unintentional attempt to kill her, she may hear a buzzing sound from the briefcase!

[Blaze]

Blaze opens the briefcase.

"If this is a bomb..."
