Pt. 4: A New Hope?

"Funny because I plan to leave in two pieces now," said Francesca as she frowns. Her free hand was glowing blue as it began to look like a small blade. With a quick slice, Francesca seem to have cut her hand that was stuck as she tried once again to fly out with blood dripping.

This time, Francesca succeeds! Mary stands there, lowering the cloak from her face, a bit of a surprised look on her face, before it turns into a grin. "It amazes me just what a person does when their young one is in danger." Smiling, suddenly Mary takes out a longsword from inside of her cloak, which looks to be twice as long as her billhook.

"Never knew you had a super computer..." Konoko muttered as she watched the goings on. Frowning a little, she kept the psychic pulses going. "Calm down, otherwise this could get a bit... painful."

"I did. No other clone was allowed to use it, and the original never even bothered to, only to work with me on some projects that he thought up from time-to-time, one of them I have to thank for me currently being here, but, anyways..." Mark says, frowning a bit as he notices the clone squirming a bit, but as the psychic pulses continue, the clone calms back down.

Slowly but surely the syringe is getting filled, now about 85% full. As one looks at the clone, for those that new Mark they might consider this person a very feminine lookalike of him, but it was slowly becoming more masculine as time went by. Reaching 90%, the clone became male and the features were becoming more toned and muscular.

Shay is kicked! "Gah!" Depending on the power behind said kick, he either goes flying or just has a sore back.

There was quite a bit of power put behind it as Shay goes flying! The clone watches for the moment as Shay careens toward one of the nearby concrete roofs, a landing upon which in the way he was going, was certainly going to be unpleasant.

[Maiden Miki]

This time, Francesca succeeds! Mary stands there, lowering the cloak from her face, a bit of a surprised look on her face, before it turns into a grin. (It is always hard to figure out what to do next after you get your hand cut off. haha)

"I did. No other clone was allowed to use it, and the original never even bothered to, only to work with me on some projects that he thought up from time-to-time, one of them I have to thank for me currently being here, but, anyways..." And Shay lands! ...and he dies. A death crystal takes his place.

(It is always hard to figure out what to do next after you get your hand cut off. haha)

((O.o...I didn't have Mary attack just yeeeeeeeet...but, oh well. XD It works.))

"Well, let's see if your so-called genius can block both of my weapons!" Mary yells, swinging both her sword and billhook, trying to get in past the katana and slash at Francesca.

"Maaaaan, your life sounded incredibly confusing, you know that?" Konoko asked, rolling her eyes as she watched the clone change. "Say... how many more clones are there now, and couldn't Mary make more?"

Mark just sighs a little bit. "Yeah...it's crazy and confusing alright..." He says, before pausing. "I...honestly don't know. I believe there were nearly 100 clones out and around before she started assimilating, and then multiplied that number by 10...but I believe a good number have been taken out, so I think we're down to 750...but she can make more, if she wanted to."

Meanwhile, the syringe looks like it is almost full, and the clone now looks like just a slightly feminine Mark! As finally the syringe fills up completely, the clone now looks 100% like the Mark clone that helped turn him back to normal. "Put him somewhere safe. It'll take a while for him to wake up."

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand suddenly about a half-dozen Mary clones suddenly show up outside of the Hasano Mansion, and just a bit ways away. "Was this where her signature was last?" One of the clones says, looking around. One of the others slowly nods. "Yeah, somewhere around here." Suddenly, one of the clones points at the Hasano Mansion. "Do you think she's the one who is behind her disappearance?" All of the rest of the clones frown as they stare at the mansion. "Looks like it's time to find out." "But, wait, didn't she say she didn't want us going after her, yet." One of the others clones ask. "She did tell us to go and investigate if any sudden disappearances happened." "True..."

Suddenly, all six teleport away, but then surround the mansion, two in the back, two in the front, one on each side, looking around.

And Shay lands! ...and he dies. A death crystal takes his place.

Seeing this, the Mary clone grins and teleports by the death crystal, grabbing it! "Ooh, menu!"

((Whoo! First one of these! XD))

[KonokoHasano]

"... that many? You can't be serious." Konoko said, looking completely surprised at the number. Looking down at the Mark clone, she nods and has someone take him to Ritsu's lab. "He should honestly be safe in Ritsu's lab for now."

Konoko then looks around and frowns. "Looks like we've got a few Marys snooping around the place. This could get a bit... bothersome." Suddenly, Konoko gets a rather interesting idea and looks at Mark. "Stay away from the windows, they won't be able to sense you. I'll be going to have a little... fun."

Konoko proceeded to make her way through the mansion and head out the back entrance and into the back yard. Having put on a cloak, she obscured herself as moved through the garden and towards the greenhouse. Stopping for a moment, she looked around to see if there were any Mary's. Hoping they noticed her, she ducked on into the building.

((O.o...I didn't have Mary attack just yeeeeeeeet...but, oh well. XD It works.))

As Francesca used her katana to block the sword. SHe had placed her stump of an arm next to her hand to make what looked like a blade of glowing blue to come out of it. It seems to be holding in the blood.

"Aur-a Sa-ber..." said Francesca as she used it to block the billhook. She was breathing heavy as she tried to push back Mary. "Seems like my genius can and more."

Francesca then gritted her teeth as she swung her head several times to form what looked like the same thing between her teeth and tried to slash at Mary's fingers that was holding the billhook.

Meanwhile, as Konoko heads outside, all 6 of the Mary's are alerted to the presence heading into the greenhouse. However, the two in the front do not bite. The other four, do, especially the two in the back and possibly the one closest to the greenhouse saw her. Heading over there, the four pause. "I'll go in first, you three stay back for the moment." The other three clones nodding, the first one slowly heads into the greenhouse and looks around.

Having seen Francesca oddly swing her head several times, Mary quickly backed off and then slashed at Francesca with her sword, which caused a sickle-shaped beam of energy, that was colored orange but necessarily orange energy itself, to spiral right at Francesca!

The clone stands there for a good bit, thinking. "Hm...how about five?"

'Option 5, EEVEElution has been chosen. Stand by.'

The pokemon center music starts playing, a poof of smoke appears, and male Shay (knocked out) and a pokemon egg are leying on the rooftop, as well as a bag of items.

Mark starts to say something, but blinks a little and shrugs, sighing a bit, as Konoko suddenly teleports away. "Guess I'll just sit here and wait..." He says, leaning back on the couch.

"Seems like a bunch of annoying trouble." Mira muttered as she sat down next to Mark. The 10-year-old, orange-haired girl just looked at him with her green eyes. "So... have any idea of what you're going to do once all this mess is fixed?"

As the clone enters the greenhouse, she'll see that it was rather beautiful on the inside, with various trees and plants. Though, she might also notice movement of a person heading down some kind of doorway.

Having seen Francesca oddly swing her head several times, Mary quickly backed off and then slashed at Francesca with her sword, which caused a sickle-shaped beam of energy, that was colored orange but necessarily orange energy itself, to spiral right at Francesca!

Francesca was able to roll out of the way as she swung her two swords herself to release what looked like a blue slash. If anything it was just looks like a flying blade attack. Francesca then began to try to run behind Mary.

'Option 5, EEVEElution has been chosen. Stand by.'

The Mary clone blinkblinks a little at the poof of smoke, staring at the knocked-out Shay for a moment, before carefully picking up the Pokemon egg, examining it, and then looking in the bag of items.

Mark pauses for a moment, looking over to Mira, raising an eyebrow. "I think it's a bit early to even think about that. If...no, when we get the original back, then I will answer your question."

The clone slowly motions for the others to slowly head on in as she slowly follows the person down through the doorway. Meanwhile, the other three clones carefully look around the front area, one of them slowly heading over toward the doorway and trying to keep an eye on the first clone while looking around.

Francesca was able to roll out of the way as she swung her two swords herself to release what looked like a blue slash. If anything it was just looks like a flying blade attack. Francesca then began to try to run behind Mary.

In the bag are what look like seven stones, one for fire, electricity, water, night, day, grass and ice, a strange gun, and a booklet with a picture of a shiny Eevee on it.

Mary eyes the blue slash, standing there for the moment, not keeping her eyes on Francesca as she starts to head behind her, but keeping her senses tuned to just what Francesca might be up to.

The blue slash just flies in the air but hits not too far from Mary and left what looked like a cut into the building. Francesca then release another one with two of her katanas but for Mary's back. The neko was breathing heavily as she was running.
