Looks clear and sensible to me, and I can't wait to start exploring it. Looks like there's enough space there for people to go off for some quiet if they want it, but also plenty of places to all gather around. Will they get their food cooked for them? And they should have a karaoke machine in there somewhere! As for that big space... hmm.

AAH I knew I was forgetting something hugely important. A kitchen/dining area might be best for the now-blank room, if it's not too odd to have an upstairs kitchen.
(In case it wasn't clear, the area's totally not to scale)...the game room might be a good place for karaoke, have something attached along with the game systems and/or a stage in that fairly empty corner.

If they're cooking and eating in the same area, it doesn't matter it's upstairs. It has to have a bunch of pretty aprons for them so they don't ruin their clothes though!

Okay, I've updated it a bit. The pool is not actually shown but it's there, to the right in the first-floor yard. I added a porch and sandbox, and the karaoke stage.

The one thing you've probably noticed no details on, the bedrooms, well, do you mind each player coming up with their character's bedroom? Including how it looks, whether there's a closet, what furniture, what clothes there are, etc.

That seems more than reasonable to me. I'll start working on it so it's ready for when my character steps into it :)

Alright, cool. I've added a link to the same MSPainting on the first page, it'll be updated with more peoples' rooms labeled with their names as more changes finish.
Also, just a note: Valerie's and Melissa's rooms have an adjoining door, in case it wasn't evident.

I have one concern. I'm guessing once the TFs are done, Whatevr will be able to step back from GMing, and everyone will just interact? I'm a little worried that without needing to wait for a GM, that things will start speeding up... a lot. I'm in the UK, so I'm asleep at peak times. The reason I avoid the Muffin Room is I go to bed, and when I wake up, RPs have advanced by 5-10 pages. What's to stop people just posting back and forth in Muffin Room style one liners? It's gonna make it really hard for me to RP if things speed up like that.

Yes, that's basically the plan (second sentence). And you're right, there is a risk of that, so...
I'm going to ask folks to try and do about what I've been doing, in consideration of differing timezones and busy schedules (the latter of which I'm going to have myself pretty soon), and not post more than like 3 a day, absolute maximum; and, as we have seven people, if you see that a two- or three-character conversation or group-action has gone forward awhile without anyone else doing something in between your posts, please wait patiently as you can. There should rarely be one page, and never two pages, where a given player doesn't post unless said player is on an extended hiatus from the RP or some such.
On the flip-side, try to remain active as you can--I'm talking within reason, and with full consideration of all the more important things you've got to do during the day, I know everyone has those.

Hopefully this won't be a huge deal, and you guys can be nice and reasonable because I don't have a whole lot of power to "punish" anyone who doesn't help us out this way...

So basically as soon as you enter the main living area you can post without waiting for the GM? Cause I don't want to continue out of turn or anything, but at the same time my character was in the middle of a conversation with Harri's and I've actually been waiting on everybody else before replying. orz

Right. I won't interject unless it's needed to describe some portion of the living area, or unless it's my own character doing stuff. Just try to be respectful of other players (see my previous post).

Well it looks fine to me, and my schedule is chaotic at best so I think the rule in place about the posts works as well...I will work on the room layout for Xandra/Zander...And Xandra will probably lay claim to the Karaoke stage as well...XD
Why do we park on a Driveway and drive on a Parkway?

So hey everybody, one of your fellow RPers had a great idea! Since the characters are all running around and the posts are a bit mixed up and disorganized as far as location goes, would you mind helping people like me with terrible memory remember which room your character's in? Perhaps just a little note in brackets like what I did to indicate whose changes were going on. Something like:
[Living Room], [Gaming Room], [Kaya's Bedroom], stuff like that. Maybe even indicate if you're changing rooms by listing the start and end point with a comma between?
