Now then, Ice Shard! *Circe gestures at Callista, and several small, sharp shards of ice fly at her.*

*Callista morphs her purse into a large baseball bat, then tries to knock the shards away from her. Predictably, one of them bypasses her swing and strikes her left shoulder.*

Callista: Ow, ow, ow, ow...aw sweet Pepsi, that's cold!

[Circe]

Well, it's your move.

Callista: I know, I know. Give me a second. *cringes*

*In the few seconds it takes for her to remove the ice shard from her shoulder and toss it away from her, Circe should notice a strange warmness starting to develop on her limbs and face.*

*Callista stoops down, a launcher forming on her back. Pressing a button in her palm, she launches a volley of missiles at her target.*

[Circe]

*Circe runs from the missiles.*

Callista: *grits her teeth* Plenty more where that came from! *holds down the trigger in her hand for about five to ten seconds, keeping a steady barrage of missiles coming*

[Circe]

*Circe continues running!*

Callista: *very unCallista-like snarl on her face* I'm going to have to talk to sis and see if she'll modify my launcher to accept homing ordinance...

*The last of the missiles explodes behind Circe. Meantime, the redness that was developing on her abruptly flares up as the full effects of the radiation make themselves known. Callista blinks at the result.*

((OOC: Not on fire, no. Outwardly it's more of a major sunburn; there aren't too many people who haven't experienced something like that. Inwardly, the radiation is doing the actual damage to Circe's HP. With each full "round" (so to speak) that passes in the fight, 25% of the target's current health (as of the end of that round) is deducted (like for instance if someone has 2 million, it would go down to 1.5, then down to 1,125,000, and so on). The condition lasts for five rounds or until its cured, whichever comes first.))

*Circe winces.* Well, this is just great...

Callista: *questioningly* ...?

The radiation did that, boss. That stuff is dangerous if you're exposed to too much sunlight.

Callista: *stares blankly at them from across the gym* ...?

Amber: *dryly* Ultra Violet radiation, you ninny. The stuff that gives you sunburns at the beach. Do the math.

*Callista thinks for a moment, then smacks a fist into her palm in understanding. Sweatdrops all around as Amber shakes her head.*

[Circe]

Well, nothing I can do about sunburns. So... Lightning Slice! *Circe holds her hand up the sky, and soon, lightning flash across it. She grabs hold of this lightning as one would a sword, and runs toward Callista.*

Callista: *frowns* Oh, just lovely. Well, not much I can really do except...

*Callista switches her stance and crosses her arms in front of her face. A holographic shield appears momentarily before fading, indicating that she is on the defensive for the duration of the attack.*

Amber: I've always loved how it's possible to violate the laws of the universe during battles like this. Lightning inside a building, stuff like that.

Kinda like Sephiroth's Supernova not killing off the entire party in one go?

Amber: Exactly.

*CIrce swings the lightning blade at Callista as she approaches.*
