Brenda frowned as she looked at Gina. "Maybe I should take you to the hospital? It couldn't hurt..." Gerard bows gracefully, then makes his way to the kitchen. Only seconds later has he returned, carrying a tray with fragrant coffee and perfectly brewed tea. He definitely has not had any time to prepare the beverages, yet here they are.
He sets them in front of the two women with such skill that they barely notice until the pleasant smell reaches their nostrils.


-- Alsora --

Alsora looks... healthy. That's really the only word to describe her. She is strong, but gracefully so rather than muscular. Her salmon-coloured skin is soft, smooth and free of any blemishes, with the exception of a small birthmark just left of her navel. Her hair is still very short, but slightly longer than it used to be, and has a healthy shine to it. Her eyes are like two emeralds, glittering with energy and joy in life.
In short, she is a beautiful and energetic eighteen-year old.


-- Viktoria --

"Right, then let's continue." Jessie goes on, pretending not to have heard Viktoria's question. She kneels down in front of the woman and rubs her hands along her legs. At the touch, they grow smooth and slender, and her feet become more compact.


-- Edward --

On the menu he finds every type of pizza he's always wanted to try, as well as all his favourites. Opposite of him, Lanette is studying her menu intently.


-- Jinny --

As soon as she takes the pill, Jinny forgets ever having been male. She thinks of herself as Jinny, a cheerful and intelligent cheerleader looking for mister or misses right.


-- William --

"Harsh? Well, it's not easy, but here in the city pregnancy is not nearly as hard as elsewhere." Tina smiles at WIlliam as she talks, while her mother is dividing the soup over the children's plates.
"Besides, not all these kids are mom's. Some came here without their parents, and she just can't leave children alone."

On the menu he finds every type of pizza he's always wanted to try, as well as all his favourites. Opposite of him, Lanette is studying her menu intently.

*After a few moments, Ed sets his menu down.* Find anything?

Gina gave a small shake of her head and a smile to Brenda, "They already examined me at the police station. You'll just have to be patient with me for a little while, sorry," her smile turned apologetic.

It felt weird to not be telling the whole truth, but at the same time it kind of felt like the truth. After all, Brenda was acting like they'd known each other forever and were best friends, and everyone else was acting like her new life was natural too.

Noticing the tea she turned and smiled at Gerard, "Thank you Gerard," she said as she lifted the cup up and takes a deep breath of it before sipping it.

Alsora frowned at herself in the mirror. Despite everything she'd been through, this is definitely one of the stranger. Even when she'd gone through the transformation among the Dark Lords she'd still felt like herself. This didn't feel like herself anymore, this felt like she'd been dumped into the life of someone else. Whether this was being done by the people here, or Gina, she had to find a way out of it. First though, a shower. Rushing would only cause more troubles for her.

With a soft growl she moved into the shower and turned it on. She never would have imagined it back in the day, but now she was wishing that things were as simple and brutal as they'd been when they were fighting the Glyph...

~~Maria~~

The cat girl gives a little shake of her head as she chuckles, "Never paid much attention in biology, did you? Oh well. If you want I can set an appointment up with my gyno, but he's a little on the touchy side. Really handsome though, so maybe you'll like it?" she gives Maria a wink.

~~Komen~~

"Welcome sir, can I get you something to drink?" a young woman asks Komen as she slides a menu onto the table in front of him. She has short, pointed, dog like ears and a bushy tail that is wagging back and forth slowly behind her.

~~Mike~~

"How delightful," Tani says with a knowing smile, "You must stop back by here before you leave again, tell me how you've enjoyed your stay."

As Tani continues to hold Mike's hand he can feel it slowly growing colder and colder.

~~Abigale~~

Clocking in Abigale sees the stack of menus nearby, along with a display showing that tables 2, 5, 7, 11, and 15 were still awaiting waitresses. As Abigale looked at the screen she remembered that all she had to do was touch the table, and then her name to indicate she was taking a particular table.

~~Max~~

After a few moments Shodan released Max and took a step back, her cheeks still just as red as they had been before, "Bashful redirection: Is there anything else I can get you?"

Clocking in Abigale sees the stack of menus nearby, along with a display showing that tables 2, 5, 7, 11, and 15 were still awaiting waitresses. As Abigale looked at the screen she remembered that all she had to do was touch the table, and then her name to indicate she was taking a particular table.

*Abigale touches the screen and selects table 2. She then looks around to see where table 2 is after taking a stack of menus.*

"Welcome sir, can I get you something to drink?" a young woman asks Komen as she slides a menu onto the table in front of him. She has short, pointed, dog like ears and a bushy tail that is wagging back and forth slowly behind her.

"huh?" Komen looks at the women and the menu trying to pick something to drink real fast. "umm How about a nice glass of hot chocolate for now. Thanks."

[Hira Kanaki]

"Nothing at this moment." Max said smiling again.

[Maiden Miki]

"How delightful," said Tani with a smile. As the conversation countinued, Mike could feel his hand getting colder and colder. "You must stop back by here before you leave again, tell me how you've enjoyed your stay."

Mike nodded as he stuck another piece of sushi in his month. He then chewed and sallow the food. "Yeah, I make sure I will. The food here is great so it be a shame to not stop by again before hitting the road again." Mike laughed and said, "Wow. You are so cool that I can feel it in my bones. Mind letting letting me warm my hand up?"

"I think I'm going to go with the pizza mozarella," Lanette says thoughtfully, then looks up at her companion. "What about you? Have you made a choice?"


-- Gina --

Apperently not entirely convinced, but persuaded, Brenda looks away and takes her coffee. Meanwhile, Gina finds the tea excellent. It is exactly what she had hoped for.
"Thank you, Gerard," Brenda tells the waiter with a warm smile. "Perfect, as always." The waiter bows gracefully, then moves away to serve another table.

The shower is perfectly comfortable. She finds it preprogrammed to her preferred temperature, and the strength of the beam is exactly right as well.

Gina quietly sipped on her tea as she looked around the room contemplatively. She owned a shop... she wasn't sure how she felt about it. As she looked about though her eyes fell on one of the waiters, and a blush touched her cheeks. They were all so attractive, and nice, and...

Her thoughts stopped as an idea entered into her mind. Brenda had been friendly with Gerard... was there one of them that Gina was supposed to be more friendly with? This would all be so much easier if she knew more about this life she was supposed to be living!

Everything being perfectly in the shower certainly did not help Alsora's mood, in fact it made it fouler. Finishing it quickly she didn't even bother wrapping a towel around herself as she stormed out of the bathroom, still dripping wet as she angrily approached Mike.

~~Abigale~~

Table 2 was just a short distance away, and had a group of rather attractive, muscular looking guys sitting there, chatting pleasantly with each other.

~~Komen~~

"Right away," the dog eared woman said brightly before turning and walking off. As she does Komen catches another hint of movement inside the tank. Definitely a flash of something skin colored...

~~Max~~

"Bashful offer: Then would you like me to show you to my room?" Shodan asked, her voice still just as mechanical despite her bright blush.

~~Mike~~

"Well, only because you asked nicely," Tani said with a small giggle as she released Mike's hand, "I'd offer to help, but I was already trying to be warm for you."

Every time she looked at one of the waiters, the man in question would look back at her as if they felt her looking. Besides the cat-boy and wolf-man, there was a tall and stately bunny, a graceful and polite angel, and a slightly rugged looking demon. None of them seemed more friendly towards her than any other.


-- Alsora --

"Alsora? What's the matter?" Mike looked up curiously, a faint blush touching his cheeks at her state of undress.

[TKC]

Gina flushed as she met each waiter's eyes, and returned to her tea afterwords. She wasn't sure what to do for now, so she focused on just drinking her tea. Maybe... she could get Brenda alone and ask her right out what was going on?

Without a word Alsora approached Mike and grabbed his arm with both of hers, twisting it in an attempt to move it painfully behind his back as she growled, "Enough games. You're going to tell me exactly what's going on."

She would have preferred to had a plasma pistol or the like to help her be more intimidating, but this would have to do for now.

"Sure, I'd like to see it." Max said.

"You should bring him over sometime," Cecillia says enthusiastically. "How old is he?"

"He's, hmm...16, now, I believe." Zack says, respond to Cecillia's question.

[Maiden Miki]

"Well, only because you asked nicely," said Tani with a giggle. She then let got of Mike's hand, "I'd offer to help, but I was already trying to be warm for you."

"Thanks," Mike laughed and then relized that maybe he did hurt Tani's feelings. Still he smiled and said, "Well you may not be able to warm me up but you sure know how to warm up a conversation." Mike then finished his last piece of sushi.

"I think I'm going to go with the pizza mozarella," Lanette says thoughtfully, then looks up at her companion. "What about you? Have you made a choice?"

Cheese pizza.
