OH WOW! I'm on like a tour of all the artwork here and giving all the artists thanks for such hard work. And I gotta say, I opened this thread and I loved the first image ^_^. For me it always begins with eyes and those eyes are on the first Tonya are just so...perfect!...so pissed...yet there's something...something about them...I suck with describing how I feel about art. It's kinda the anime thing...you see something drawn and yet, there's a reality to it. And I feel the eyes there. They're beautiful, funny and yet scary all at the same time....and you're gonna get an ever growing message because I'm basically checking out each image...oooooh wow again...and I thought the hammer in Magical Play was big...that's some sword.

You have such brilliant artwork. Oh my...that's an creepy woman there...and more sketchies...spoooon...I love the way you colorized. *jaw*...a bishie....thank you thank you thank you thank you.....head too big? I don't mind. Just makes him sexiers.

You have such artistic range...the does look like it took a long time and want to thank you for drawing it. And I hope you did well in the class with that ^_^. Wow...green sold girl. She's really cute.

I like that reddish girl with the blond hair and the...pipe? but the red near red is a little migraine inducing...sowwy ^^;....I still like it though

Angel painter girl! WOOOO!

Even your sketches are really impressive :)

whoaaaaaaaa...I have no clue why that anime-type inked person is wearing jack-in-the-boxes but I just melt when there's anything inkedlike..

WOOO!...Spoon girl got colored....The eyes wound up a little freaky but I really like it.....and ghost form is even freakier...

The scary thing is....I've seen that butt before..and as much as I'm ok with Josh Hartnett's posterior...that one would prompt a similar reaction as depicted from moi...I'd probably hire girl-Spike to deal with man-Faye

Image

oooo...under-the-sea-Princess...the orange-shaded on is my favorite....that color hair is just freaking great...I wish I had that color hair...kind of a Spider-Man 2...Kirsten Dunsty look.

Santa Princess! ^^
Awww...*hugs*....*for the sad sketch* :(
Ooooh...top-half type person...I love the background black sections...nice contrast.
Aww...poor Felix...feel free to sit however you like

Oh coooool! Raijin! *even though I've yet to meet Rai* Still very well done and I hope well appreciated ^^

Cool knife-girl sketch...I love that front-lock dyed style of hair...even though I'd never dare try it...meck?...fries?

AX2004 must have been stranger than I thought...

Ooooo...card-master type person...I love how well perspective works out on that...oooh...creepy wallpaper...but very nice.

And that's about it I think. I probably overlooked some stuff here and there, for that i'm sorry but I want to say thank you again for sharing such wonderful artwork ^_^

`\o It's been a while, since I... `\o

Postby Geckojira » Fri Jul 23, 2004 4:12 am

It's been a while since I've posted any art, so umn. Here! It's not of anyone on the board (I'm sorry!), but I've been inspired by something else. So here's the second in a series of pencil and ink pieces that are going to be a present to a friend. I'm giving detail-work a shot, since I'm normally too lazy, or too intimidated to try.

Notes: The entire piece took around four or five hours to finish, and was accomplished on an 11" x 14" paper, so some of the image falls outside of the scanner. What isn't seen would be more of the tree, with stipled moss dangling from the branches. That's about it!

Here's a cropped image of just the figure from the piece.

- Extra Stuff : The Files are all over 100kb! -

The original pencil sketch! Eek, no background.

The background is penciled in, and I started inking the rough.

The general outline of everything has been inked in! Rough pencil has been erased. Hair finished.

Nearly done! Figure is finished, and the background nears completion!

And Wah Lah, the finished product, sans what couldn't be scanned. Ow, my hands...

My drawing hand hates me. I just know it's going to cramp up tomorrow. *sniffs*

Oh, and my geckos had babies. =D Four iddy biddy baby Crested Geckos!

Yay.

Geckojira, all I can say is wow. Love your work. My favorites are the Princess Jei and Sia. Great coloring work. What do you use to color your work?

How so deliciously deviant...!

Postby Geckojira » Mon Aug 02, 2004 6:44 am

Well, I remember sometime in June someone suggesting that I get a Deviant Art account. So, I did! But, I didn't post anything on it until just a week ago. And then, just now, I thought, hey, I might as well post it here. =o There isn't much on the site, just my recent inkworks and some of the stuff I did for the fun people on this board. =) Please do take a look!

Back... to the Future!

Postby Geckojira » Fri Aug 27, 2004 10:04 am

Look! Look! I'm not dead. =D I've just been working on lots of other things. I took a break after finishing my seven piece Ashwyn inked series (which can be found at my Deviant Art site. Ooooh!), but now, I'm back to drawing again. => I need to find myself a new sketchbook, as well as some new pens since that Ashwyn series did a number on my 0.05. Anyhow! As a quick sketch (and to get back into the groove of inking again), I did my angry rendition of some random MSF member! Woo!

Look! She's angry!

It's unfinished, but it was mainly done as an exercise to loosen my hand up for painful inking in the future. =I

On an unrelated note, I finally started work on my web comic. Thanks to a friend, I once again have Photoshop (mine died last month!), which means not only can I scan things again (which helped to extend my absence), but I can actually color things!

So um. Here's the first strip of my web comic. I don't quite have a place for it yet, as my web designy friend has been partying along with me. ;>

First "Always Tomorrow" strip! Huzzah!

Ahem. If it isn't obvious, I'm also deliriously tired from lack of sleep. I spent all night preparing for a Friday Night party, fixing up that comic strip, and messing around with the MSF member drawing. ;> And so on that note, good night. =P
