"What's so funny? It's just another shirt with Japanese symbols on it." Stud sidles up to her and gives the shirt a quizzical look.

Can you not read it?

Naru sits down next to Nick, hugging her knees close. "What I want to know though, is why bring me here? You said it's your hideaway. We've only known each other for about 10 minutes now."

Stud shakes his head. "No, I can't. I've kind of wanted to learn, but I never really made the time, I guess."

[Zoey]

Nick laughs. "I ment hide away as a way to take some fresh air, relax and reflect on myself".

"Well, that still makes it a special place for you, doesn't it? I'm honored that you'd take me somewhere you generally save just for yourself." Naru leans towards him a bit.

"I think I'd like that." Stud slips an arm around her waist. "Any excuse for me to spend more time with you..."

"Your a wierd one Naru" says Nick. "Everyone calls me a pussy when I tell them about this..."

"Nonsense! Everyone needs some kind of refuge. Most don't find an actual place like this. It's usually in their minds." Naru shivers slightly.

"Why not? I haven't had too much experience learning new languages, but it can't be too hard, right?" Stud gives Sakura a warm smile. "I'd love to have you as my teacher."

"Thanks Naru" says Nick smiling at her. He slowly inches his way closer to her. "Beautiful isn't it?" he asks looking at the lake.

Naru nods and says nothing. She scoots a little closer herself, letting her shoulder lean against his arm just below his shoulder level.

"Well, you could always come back with your friends. I'm sure they have better fashion sense than me." Stud raises an eyebrow. "Would you like to see your surprise?"
