Fable: The Ties that Bind (RP Thread)

[Kris_Roth]

Aloena heads back into the kitchen..."Looks like we have another mission from the Guildmasters. I just got done talking to Katt, the Guildmaster's daughter. Her mom will give us the mission whenever she is ready."

[Lanzerus]

"okay." Keaton says not lifting his head from his book.

[muffinstud]

"He's a determined fellow, all right." Cletus shakes his head to himself. "Say, Aloena. Where is Katt anyways? I need to ask something of her."

[Haylie]

The group hears Katt's voice coming from... above?

"What is it? Make it fast."

Seems she's taken a perch on the chandelier above. She doesn't look very comfortable.

[Kris_Roth]

Aloena nods..."Up there, Cletus. She has a mission for us, so better ask quickly." She points up to where Katt is..."Oh, Katt, these are Keaton, Lyon, and Cletus, if you don't know already; guys, this is the guildmaster's daughter, Katt."

[muffinstud]

Cletus blinks. "Katt and I have met." He lowers his head. "But Katt, on behalf of all of us here, I'd like to apologize. We probably couldn't've saved the other trainees, but if we got here sooner, your family might not be in the bind it's in right now. So, I'm sorry your loved ones got hurt because of us." He straightens up and heads for the door. "I'll be outside, waiting for this job to get started."

[Haylie]

Katt just stares at him, rather dumbstruck. Despite her efforts to maintain her cold composure, she can't help but raise her eyebrows.

"Uh... Fine, then. Um... get your gear and... do that."

Translation: "Apology accepted."

[Kris_Roth]

Aloena heads back to her room, cleans up from that last mission, changes into a clean light blue cloth robe with white trim, and puts on some clean cloth bracers as well as some comfortable shoes, and heads back out with her knapsack and her iron mace. "I'm ready...should we take some rations with us for this mission, in case we don't get back before the next meal time?"
She checks her waterskin, which is full of clean water. "I brought some empty water skins for everyone. You should fill these up and get any necessary food for this mission."

[Lanzerus]

Hearing that a mission is about to happen keaton quickly gets up, the food on his plate untouched, he shoves the book into his bag, and dusts himself off, readjusts his glasses and picks up his staff. "I am willing to go out and do anything to fix the mistake I made." Keaton says lowering his head.

[Shadowmaster]

Lyon gets up and silently moves to the map room after finishing his food. On his way, he grabs a bit of food and puts it in his bag.

[Haylie]

Scarlet is already in the Map Room, hefting a large wooden beam off of the map table that should be way too heavy for her to lift herself. Then she dusts herself off and addresses the group.

"Alright then, uh... you'll have to forgive me, I'm not used to speaking to groups like this... Uh, Kathryn, go collect our last member, please."

Katt jumps down from the ceiling fixture and heads off to find Cletus.

[muffinstud]

Cletus is found outside, in front of the guild's doors. (this is just outside the map room) He's adjusting his gear, tightening buckles and making sure he has shot for his pistol and such.

[Haylie]

Katt steps through the door, nearly plowing into Cletus as she does so. She doesn't seem to notice, or is trying to keep her composure.

"Hey, big guy. We need you in here."

[muffinstud]

Cletus smiles. "All right, but you don't have to try and run me over. Unless you want to." He winks mischieviously and enters the map room.

Aloena waits with the others in the map room with Lyon, Keaton, and Katt, as well as her mother. "I wonder what mission we have next?" She wonders to herself...
