Fable: The Ties that Bind (RP Thread)

[Lanzerus]

Keaton grabs some of the ham, and eggs and tries to find a way to cool it down. "I thank the guild for the food."

[Kris_Roth]

Aloena nods to Keaton's comment, "Yes, and I hope the Guildmasters are going to be okay. Anyway, this guild trains new heroes for missions. Our earlier mission was to stop a Balverine from disrupting the local traders in the forest area. That's where we at before we ran into you. I can heal people, so what can you do?"

[Lanzerus]

"not....really....sure...." keaton says rubbing his head. "I am extremely intellegent...and um..i know how to use a sword."

[muffinstud]

"You sound like you're modest too." Cletus wipes a stray bit of oatmeal from his face. "So you're smart, eh? Do you know how to use the Will?"

[Haylie]

The watchful eye might notice Katt leaning against the wall to the map room, looking more than a little ticked off. If she's revealing herself, however, it's most likely because she wants someone to notice her. Maybe she needs a friend?

[Kris_Roth]

Aloena sees Katt at the map room, and goes over to get some food for her, as well as her mom and dad..."I'm going to talk to the Guildmaster's daughter. Maybe she'd like to join us for a meal..." She heads out to talk to Katt. "Hi there. I have some food for you..." She hands some food and drink for Katt to take. "I fixed some food for your parents. I hope your father is going to be okay. Let me know if you need to heal your father, okay?"

[Haylie]

Katt looks at the food as if it's been laced with cyanide, then at Aloena as if she caught her with the bottle. Nevertheless, she takes the food and samples a piece of bacon.

"Mum said Dad should be fine. Oh, and to tell you she's got another mission ready. She'll tell you when she comes down."

She takes another bite of bacon and mutters something that sounds a bit like, "Thanks."

[Kris_Roth]

Aloena nods..."So, this mission is for all of us, or just for me? I'd rather have my friends with me. Lyon and Cletus are good for melee, and the new guy seems to be pretty smart. I am not sure about the new guy's ability..." She smiles..."So, anyway, what about you? Can you tell me about yourself and your parents?"

[Lanzerus]

"hm, the Will. I have read on it, but never actually had a chance to try and use it." Keaton said staring down at the table. "So, what are your specific skills?"

[muffinstud]

"I'm a big hairy lumberjack with an axe. Take a wild guess." Cletus takes a satisfactory bite of toast. "Although, I do know a trick or two with the will. Handy stuff, it is."

[Lanzerus]

Keaton mumbles something about being extremely blunt to the point of rude. "Wow, hm, that's quite interesting, you know how to use the Will."

[Haylie]

"Mum wouldn't give me details. Just said to tell someone down here there's a mission ready to go when you are."

It's now about 10:15 am.

[Kris_Roth]

Aloena nods..."Well, I'll tell the others to meet in the map room for the mission debriefing when they are ready. Will your mom or you have the mission briefing? I would like to know what we would be doing...also, I think most of us would be tired after the missions, so can we have time to clean up after the missions and have some downtime? It would help morale a bit..."

[muffinstud]

Cletus visibly puffs up. "Now, it's only a small spell, but it helped me kill a balverine just this morning. Now I figure you're as smart as you say you are, so if I were you I'd get cracking on learning a spell or two. Who knows? It might just save your neck!"

[Lanzerus]

"a-alright." he squeaks timidly, lifting a large book that looks like it took up half the space in his pack. With breakneck speed he begins reading.
