"Uh... okay."

Mike never was much of a leader, and expressed discomfort whenever the role was given to him. Well, her. Now she ambles over to lead Cian to the small but cozy eatery she dubbed as her new favorite eating establishment.

(So I take it Edward is still outside the restaurant, next to his car- despite certain characters not existing anymore?)

[Garath the Shadowshifter]

OOC: Well Nephilim I think what we are going to have to do is just write out Melkorios' character. It's unfortunant, but the only way at the moment.

I believe that frees up a shard, so if anyone knows of someone still wanting to play, let them know we have a spot to fill.

IC: Edward unlocked the door to his car, and got in the driver's seat waiting for Scott to get in the passenger seat. It had been a long day, and right now he was just looking to get Scott home so he could get back here and do some relaxing of his own.

Ray, hair disheveled, sweaty and panicked, approaches a man in a car next to the restaurant while wearing his trenchcoat and holding what feels like a can opener in his pocket. He licks his lips frantically and nods to himself. Yes. If he's still human, he needs to eat. He'll eat, prove he's still himself, and everything will be just fine. "Food!" He yells out at the man. "I need some food! Please! I'll pay!"

(oh yeah, he seems like the kind of person you want to meet in a dark alleyway...)

"Augh! A crazy hobo with a knife!" Scott shouts when he sees the mysterious cloaked man pop up from the shadows and demand for food. What was it with the homeless these days? Were they getting that desperate? "FLOOR IT, EDWARD! FLOOR IT!"

[Garath the Shadowshifter]

Edward sighed, "Now Scott, that's no way to treat someone," He said calmly yet making sure he could pull, aim and fire his shotgun if needed.

"Sir," He said turning to Ray, "We aren't open anymore, but if you're really that hungry, I'll bring out the leftovers to you as soon as I drop my friend off at his house. There is a park bench right over there that you can wait upon."

Edward spoke clearly, and sternly. Making it very clear that he would NOT tollerate any violence if Ray tried any. He also did his best to relay that he meant no harm, and was truthfull to his words.

He had seen many crazy things in his life, and knew how to handle these situations. If it came down to it, he could and WOULD fire the gun. But he hoped things didn't go that far...

Ray dives onto the hood of the car. "Mister, I need food NOW!" Ray's hand pops out of his pocket, and it can be clearly seen that from the wrist up, he has no hand. Instead, he has a menacing circular saw. He shrinks a bit at Scott's words. They're not going to help. He's a monster. His frightened gaze turns from them to his arm as the buzz saw turns on by itself.

Mike happens to be rounding a corner when she sees these goings-on, and responds appropriately:

"What the hell?!"

She runs back to grab Cian's sleeve and jerk him around to see the buzz-saw man on Ed's car. She points frantically. "What is that?!"

Ed knew when it was a good time to retreat. THIS was one of those times! Slaming the car into reverse he hit the gass, backing up and away from whatever it was that was attacking the car.

He wasn't the best driver in the world, but he sure hoped he'd be able to get to the exit and zip out of here before the buzz saw guy could stop them. Comming to a quick stop just long enough to set the car back into drive, he slams on the gass once more, racing for the parking lot exit...

Ray hits the asphalt with an "Oof!" as the hood slides out from under him. He gets up to his knees and screams. "I'm a monster!" At his outburst, his skin and clothes fold into his metal skeleton. His unblinking red eyes quiver and he sobs hysterically. He smacks his head repeatedly into the ground, leaving visible cracks. Mike, with her superb hearing should be the only one to hear him whisper to himself "I want to be human again. I want to be human again..."

Cian could only stand there, staring, at the... whatever it was in front of them. This can't be real, can it?

He glanced at Mike.Of course it can.

"He looks like he's in pain." he said, to no one in particular.

Mike just stares at the poor metallic soul, her ears twitching at the silent sobs.

"He... I... I think he's like me... He needs help."

The last sentence is borderline imperative.

Ray's metallic body shivers and he hugs himself. The buzzsaw reverts to a hand, albeit a skeletal and metallic one. He remains kneeling and shaking his head. He takes a few long breaths to calm himself down, and it works a little. Thankfully, Ray's nervous breakdown is reaching a close.

"God, that was a close one!" Scott sighs as he wipes the sweat off his brow. He still had the shakes from seeing that guy's hand. Was that even a hand? "Who.... What the hell was that guy? Some kind of monster?"

He pokes his head out the window and checks behind them to see if the buzzsaw-handed man was trying to chase them. There doesn't seem to be anyone in sight, but that could all change in a flash....

[Garath the Shadowshifter]

"I don't know, and I'm not willing to find out!" Edward said speeding away, "I only hope they aren't there when I get back..."

(It's kinda up to Ray and Mike to progress things. Edward is just speeding away. Not much else I think he'd do)
