Fable: The Ties that Bind (RP Thread)

(its good, kind of on the slow side, but if it were too fast i would end up lost and sorta pull my Houdini act, just sorta...disappear.)

Aloena collects Keaton's glasses and gives them back to him..."These are yours, sir. I think you'll be rooming with Cletus and Lyon. I am in the girl's dorm. Your headmaster is Headmaster Payne, and I see you met the Headmistress, and the other girl was their daughter. They'll be training us often. Right now, I could go for something to eat. Anyone up for a quick grab and run through the kitchen?"

"thank you." he says then listening to what Aloena says, his stomach growling the entire time, "I think food sounds like a good idea."

(slow is good-this way it stays steady an no one will drop out. Fable's universe is one I enjoy greatly, so I want to keep going.)

Cletus coughs and nearly loses his balance. "I think I'll need a bit more of your healing, Aloena. I don't want any food slipping through any holes in my insides."

[Kris_Roth]

Aloena hands Keaton his glasses, "Cletus needs some healing, so Lyon, take our new friend to the kitchen and fix us some food, okay? Also, fix three meals for the Payne family. I think Headmaster Payne and his family can use some food." She heads over to start healing on Cletus. "There, is that better?"

Cletus sighs happily and looks visibly more energetic. "Much! I could get used to having you around. You've saved my life today. And I may be biased, but you're quite attractive as well." He winks, smiles and heads off towards the kitchen.

Aloena blushes at Cletus's comment..."Yeah, anyway, let's get something to eat and drink for everyone, and maybe we can rest up, and get to know our new friend. You seem to be getting along with him..."

[muffinstud]

Cletus snorts. "As long as he doesn't keep stabbing me, I don't see any problems between us. Now come on, let's eat. I'm starved!" Cletus bounds down the stairs and into the kitchen where he grabs the nearest plate and starts helping himself to the nearest portions, hot or cold.

Aloena chuckles and then heads into the kitchen for a hot meal..."Mmmm finally, some good food..." she pokes her head out to get Keaton and Lyon's attention..."Hey, you want your food hot or cold? We have both, if you want. I prefer my food warm, not too hot."

[Lanzerus]

"Cold, Traveling has caused my stomach to reject any food that is anything more than Warm, and the only thing i like Warm is my meat."

[Shadowmaster]

"I don't care one way or another. The temperature doesn't make t any less filling." Lyon says.

Cletus' full mouth prevents him from saying anything more complicated than yummy sounds. He packs in the food like a champ and looks to be very content.

(Sorry, folks. I've been a bit occupied with school, work, and money problems. But I'm back now, so let's get things back on track here)

In the way of food, there's pancakes, bacon, eggs of all sorts and sizes cooked in any way imaginable. There's sausage, ham, syrup, even oatmeal, as well as the eater's choice of milk, orange juice or water. It's all still warm and still delicious-smelling.

Naturally, there's no sign of the cooking staff or servants. Most likely they took off when the fireworks started. Remarkably, the kitchen seems untouched by the battle. They must have known what they were doing...

Aloena smiles as she finds herself getting food for herself and the others seem to be helping themselves. She then sits down and makes sure she has something to drink and eat.

Lyon sits down and eats some food quietly.
