Fable: The Ties that Bind (RP Thread)

[Lanzerus]

"look, I said I was sorry." he pauses "you are still living aren't you?"

[muffinstud]

Cletus stares at Keaton. "...are you...kidding me?"

[Lanzerus]

"Do I look like I am kidding?" Keaton says, shifting his weight into his feet, preparing for a kick. "I told you I was sorry, AND look at yourself, you bleeding has stopped albeit temporarily, and you are talking. Thus you are fine."

[muffinstud]

Cletus chuckles painfully. "...thanks..." He then raises a fist at Keaton and gives him the twigs.* "...I'm thrilled..."


*"The twigs" is the British equivalent of flipping someone off.

[Lanzerus]

"No problem, 'friend.' " keaton says placing his hand on his Elbow and raising his arm, returning the friendly gesture, in the French variation.

[Shadowmaster]

"Stop arguing..." Lyon says. "It's not going to get us anywhere."

[Haylie]

Crimson is stabilized, but still not awake. It might be a while. Scarlet seems to be a bit better, though.

"Thank you, Aloena."

She then quicksteps between the two arguers and draws her Solus Greatsword*.

"I've had just about enough of the both of you. If you don't calm down and make up right now, I'm going to cleave you both in several directions."



*Solus Greatsword: In the Fable-verse, the most powerful two-handed weapon in the game. It's fire-based, heals the user and replenishes their mana at a faster rate, and looks really cool.

Aloena listens to the bickering...."Please stop bickering! I healed you enough to stablize you, Cletus...and the Guildmaster will be fine. He just needs some rest and additional healing treatments, but we need to be at full health for when we have our next mission..."
She then smiles to the Headmistress..."Just doing my job, Headmistress Payne. Will your husband be okay? Oh, I hear you have a daughter....she informed us you needed us after we took on that Balverine. The traders gave us some items. Maybe you'd like to examine them and see if they can be of use to us?"

[muffinstud]

Cletus coughs, a little blood spattering on his shirt. "I'm done. Promise." He stands up shakily and offers a hand to Keaton. "Truce?"

[Lanzerus]

"yes." Keaton says taking his hand and giving it a soft shake. "If you need any bandages i can help." he says reaching into his small bag and pulling out a roll of bandage and a small 'pocket guide to first aid for the busy traveler.'

[Haylie]

Scarlet slowly puts away her huge sword again.

"Well, then. My husband's in no way to travel for a good while. We are once more in desperate need of Heroes. And there's still the bloody war on our borders. You four mull that over while I see to my husband."

She walks over to the still-unconscious body of Crimson and begins moving him back into the room, to their bed.

[Lanzerus]

after a long pause. "Well, I don't know about you all. But I came to this guild to fight, and I want scars to show my future wife, stories to tell my grandchildren, a list of achievements on my gravestone." he says, no longer seeming like a weak bookworm, but more like the valiant traveler he hoped he had seemed like.

[muffinstud]

Cletus wobbles over to Keaton. "Well, you're going to get it. We've got a lot on our plate and no one else can help us finish it off." He smiles. "You're on the road to glory, just like me." He gives Keaton a pat on the back, maybe a little harder than necessary, but still friendly.

[Lanzerus]

"ah." he says as Cletus hits him on the back knocking his glasses loose. "Well, at least I know I don't have to worry about having to deal with weak team mates."

[Haylie]

(Quick pause: What do you guys think of my RP? Is it going too slow, is it good, or what?)
