"Scram?" Chione stood, hands on her hips. "Who died and made you queen, missy? This is our room, in case you haven't noticed. Last I knew, princess, there was no secret rule letting brats order other people out of their rooms. If you don't like your bunkies, too bad. It's your problem, not ours."

Amy looks around confusedly, trying to pinpoint where the new voice came from, and looking a bit foolish. She eventually settles with looking directly in front of her until the new girl speaks again.

"Excuse me? Are you having difficulty finding your room? I would help if I could, but..."

Ian beamed. He hadn't made it sound as dumb as he'd feared.

"Weapons mostly, though they tend to have a lot of different abilities." He stated after a few moments of thought.a

/Carl nods./

"Well, that's...interesting. I wonder if most people here how abilities like you do...Can I see you pull something?"

The girl grinned. "You heard what that teacher said; we can do whatever we want. So, if you're not going to be good dogs and move when ordered, I guess I'll have to discipline you."

Immediately the girl's hand burst into bright green flames.

"So what's it going to be worms?"

"How about you vacate our room before I sever your spinal cord?" Sandra had materialized a blade, courtesy of training by her father, and is standing ready to use it. "Think your fire is faster than my blade?"

Amy leaps to her feet with surprising suddenness, and manages to keep her balance.

"Whoawhoawhoawhoawhoa WHOA! Back up!" She takes a deep breath. "Okay. Can we all just calm down here? I really don't think we should fight in the dorms. If there's a fight to be had here, then it should be taken outside so there's little chance of collateral damage. Okay?"

She doesn't look all that convincing or intimidating, standing there with her arms outstretched, ready to topple at the slightest push, focusing mainly on the ground in front of her.

The girl snorted but the flames vanished.

"I suppose it wouldn't do to ruin my room. So lets take it outside then."

The girl spun and casually walked out the door. Of course if no one followed in the next few minutes it was likely she'd be back.

Ian nodded wordlessly and removed his hat from his head. He flourished one hand over the hat with a bit too much gusto and then reached inside. When he pulled it out, he was holding an old, dictionary sized, book; bound in wordless gray leather, and covered with dust.

"Something inoffensive is probably better so..." Ian muttered to himself.

Then he nodded. "5012: The Key." He stated, all desire to show off gone from his face. Immediately the book flipped open, turning itself to a page somewhere around the middle.

Ian nodded and read out loud. "The Key, an ancient artifact belonging to a long forgotten god. It has the potential to open anything that is locked by draining the user's soul." Then, without closing the book he dropped it back into his hat, reached inside and withdrew a rather clunky old key.

"It's a bit convoluted to use." Ian stated satisfied, "But, it's really versatile, and some of the items in here are really powerful." Not that he could actually summon them; but no one else needed to know that bit.

"You two stay here while I deal with this. It shouldn't take long and I'm dying to work off some pent up energy anyway. Don't worry, Chione, I wasn't offended by any of it. Be back in a moment." Sandra steps out of the room, after checking to make sure there isn't a sucker punch type attack flying at her face as she exits.

"Oh, no you don't! I'm coming, too, and nothing short of the hounds of Hell is gonna stop me."

She sounds very serious. She manages to quickly find her cane and follows Sandra with a purpose.

"Same here. Think I'm going to let some prima donna order me out of my room and just sit back and let someone else take care of it? Heck no. This is my fight too, sister." Chione tightened her auburn ponytail and stalked out into the hall, visage set in an expression of stern determination.

The girl strode proudly down the hallway that led to the main entrance; snorting arrogantly as the three followed her. This would be easier than taking candy from a baby. With that thought in mind, she practically waltzed out the front door, into the early morning light.

Amy followed remarkably easily, possibly because of all the noise the girl was making. She didn't even use her cane much.

"To be perfectly honest with you, and to give you a bit of a fair warning, I don't think you'll be able to handle all three of us, not on your own, miss."

Sandra scratches something at the door to their room before continuing down the hall. The minor ward should alert them if anyone tries to enter it while they follow her. "Alright, onward to an amusing time I think."
