I was thinking I might do the priestess sort.... If spirits are involved, one of those may be useful. Oh, and if you intend to start this Saturday, I won't be here either. I'm going to our annual picnic at our local amusement park, sponsored by Dad's workplace (well, technically ex-workplace now he's retired, but it's pretty much the same thing). I haven't missed a year my entire life- literally, my first time out was at a month old. It's an all-day affair, and odds are I won't be home until late. I can jump in Sunday, though, or maybe if I'm not too utterly exhausted and sore, Saturday night I can (or create my character in the morning before leaving, if I have time).

Race: Pure Human
Age: 29
Description: Black hair and black eyes. He is a bit on the pale side as he has spent the past several years of his life hunting spectres and as such has lost any tan coloring he might have picked up in his past. He is of a only a lieutenant in the organization and in charge tonight's hunting squad. Specializes in mantras and their applications in suppressing and dispelling the darkness. Long range fighter despite his gruff physique, he usually can be spotted using a machine gun or hand gun. Has a bad smoking habit.

Race: Human (her family claims tales of a faerie ancestor far back in the past, but that's just a story, right?)
Age: 25
Description: Deirdre has deep red hair, bordering in auburn in shade, and warm brown eyes. She has about a medium height and build, and her skin is naturally fair. As her name no doubt indicates, she is of Irish descent. If you ask her what she does, she'll simply say she's a witch. This leads many people to believe she practices the Wiccan religion, when really, she in fact engages in a kind of earth spirituality passed through the female line of her family for generations, tapping into the powerful energies of nature. A spiritual tradition she is expected to pass on in her own right; Deirdre knows that someday she'll have to produce a daughter of her own to carry on the family tradition. But she's in no hurry to do so just yet, despite what her mother insists.... Needless to say, working with spirits is a key forte of hers; summoning and binding especially. In a pinch, though, she also knows how to work with knives, and is especially adept at throwing them.
