Maruno is trying to activate a new Jutsu that would enable him, Anokou, and Hitomi to escape from Orochimaru's trap via underground and somehow end up at the Hidden Leaf Village to warn Guy-Sensei, Kakashi-Sensei, Lady Tsunade, or Naruto and friends that Sayomi is being controlled and is working for Orochimaru.
