Musa's House

[scarplo]

Scarplo rubbed his eyes. "A word of advice, kid... don't say things you'll regret later on. You never know when a converstion will be your last."

And the bandaged vagabond began walking for the exit.

[Musashi]

"So I'll regret wanting to help you? And what, are you threatening me now?"

The ninja ran up to Scarp and stood in front of him to block his way. "Why're you in such a rush to leave, anyway? You just got back."

Musa's ears went from angry-flat to a sad droop. "I missed you... don't you even care?"

[scarplo]

Scarplo sighed. "I'm leaving because you don't seem to know what you're saying, and I'm just pissing you off by being here. Whether or not I care, you care, or anyone is tired doesn't matter."

And the vagabond attempted to sidestep the ninja. "The only thing that ever did is what happens. And this is getting neither of us anywhere."

[Musashi]

"You're not pissing me off by being here! You're pissing me off by trying to leave. That Janitor guy said you need two days of bed rest, so I want to make sure you get it. I want to help you."

The kitty hugged the vagabond, and clung to him and sniffled. "I'm sorry I've been acting weird. I'm just tired and.. scared..." Sniff. "I'm scared that you'll just disappear again. Please don't leave me again, Scarpy."

[scarplo]

Scarp's sigh was one of quiet defeat. "Fine. But I'm not tired, and you are. You rest."

[Musashi]

The kittyboy made a little "skwee!" noise and hugged even tighter.
"Thank you! ...But ya'know, even if you did leave, I don't think you'd be able to really go anywhere. Not anywhere that you know. We're not in the same universe anymore, and only I can take you back there. So if you left, then you might get lost, and you might get in trouble, and might get hurt, and I would be so worried and have to search for you!"

Musa nuzzled at Scarp and purred most kittyishly. "But you're not leaving, so I don't have to worry~! But.. before I rest, is there anything you need? Or want to do? We do have a lil' library room, if you wanted to read or something..."

[scarplo]

Scarplo frowned. "The library would work."

[Musashi]

Musa frowned too. "You don't have to be so bummed out about it..."

The kitty held Scarp's hand and led him down the hallway, all the way towards the back. On the left was one of those sliding paper doors. Musa slid it open to reveal a somewhat small-ish room with one window, and walls covered in shelves of books all the way around. There was a table and a few chairs in the middle of the room, and on the table were some pens, pencils, highlighters, and a few bookmarks. A small lamp hung from the ceiling over the table, and a cord to pull to turn it on dangled from it.

"Well, this is it. Some are in English, and some aren't. But you still have those weird glasses, right?"

[scarplo]

Scarp shook his head. "Most of my stuff is still probably back at Eirien's."

The vagabond sat down, noting the various writing impliments. "Do you have anything I can write on?"

[Musashi]

Musa nodded, grabbed a few sheets of paper that were sitting on a shelf, and flopped them down onto the table. "Whatchya gonna write?"

[scarplo]

Scarp chuckled. "Not so tired, then. My thoughts."

[Musashi]

Musa yawned a lil' kitteny yawn, and huuuuuuuugged Scarp. "I'm still tired, and I'll rest soon. In here, with you. So, what're your thoughts?"

[scarplo]

The vagabond ruffled Musashi's hair. "Sca."

[Musashi]

Musa looked up at Scarp. "Sca? Is she okay? Does she still need a body? Ya'know, Yuki might make her one if we ask real nice... it's kinda hard for him to do, ya'know? But I betchya he would!" The kitty clinged to Scarp and nuzzled at the hair-ruffling hand.

[scarplo]

Scarplo noted the clingy-ness with a raised eyebrow, but said nothing. "Sca is... tired. She faced something while I was out. She won't say what. And we could try Yuki, after you get some rest. Alright?"
