I don't mind at all.

^_^

Also, about Artemis being seen bathing, yes there is a similair story about that happening to Athena.

The reason they both have stories like this, in my opinion, is because neither of them married or bothered with guys.

Artemis was a virgin Goddess, and Athena never bothered with men either.[To my memory at least.]

Tiresias stumbled upon her bathing, and was blinded.

A Hunter named Acteon saw Artemis bathing, so she turned him into a Hart[deer] and his own dogs killed him. Another version of this Myth states that he claimed to be a better Hunter then Artemis, which again resulted in him becoming a deer and being eaten by his own dogs.

As for the Aegis: The version I heard was that Aegis was a Goatskin Breastplate that Zeus gave to her.

Right, I remember now. Artemis and Athena were indeed two of the three virgin Goddesses (Hestia being the other) and those do sound like what I remember.

The Aegis is so confusing! I think it's most widely accepted as being a sheild, though. Or at least that's what I had always seen it as...
The stories regarding the head of Medusa being on Aegis are from when Athena had lent it to Perseus, I believe. He had used it when slaying Medusa, and stuck her head on the sheild afterwards.

Ahh.See I always heard that one differently.

Hermes gave Perseus a shield from Athena, a sword, let him borrow the winged sandals, and told him where to find a helmet which would make him invisible.

He used the mirrored shield to avoid seeing Medusa's face.[It was safe to view her reflection.] However she was so ugly that her reflection burned it's way onto the shield.

Upon returning and saving Andromeda, as well as his own mother, he threw Medusa's head into the sea, returned the shield to Athena[via her temple], gave the helmet to Hermes, as well as returning the winged sandals.

I have heard that Athena's shield once belonged to Zeus, but not that it was the Aegis.

This is why I think Athena is Zeus' favorite. [Something I tried to show in the story.I'll try to show this better in the rewrite.]

Athena is one of the favorites. Hestia is the most honored of the Olympian gods (even though she gave up her position to Dionysus), and stays in his home or tends to some fire on Mount Olympus or something like that. Artemis is also one of Zeus' favorites, as they have a good father-daughter relationship (since Zeus is her father in one of the popular stories of her coming-to-be (birth)). Funny how the three virgin godesses are among the most favorite of Zeus.

Oh, and if you are going to make a rewrite, think of a name for the story. :P And if you can't, maybe you could ask for opinions after it's done and read. "Nameless story" just doesn't have that ring to it. XD

Heh. I suppose it's time to reveal another glimpse into my mind.

The story has no name, because I did not give it one. I did not give it one because I knew, even before I posted it, that I wasn't happy with it and wanted to redo it.

I try not to name a story before it's finished. it's a quirk of mine. The very first story I ever wrote, which also happens to be the best of all my stories, did not receive a name until two chapters before the end. This story did not take hours to write. it did not take weeks to write. It fif not take months to write. It took years. I was seven-eight when I began thinmking it up. Eleven-Twelve when I started writing it down, and sixteen when the story came to an end.

So it's out a a sort of semi-superstition that I try and avoid giving a story a name until I'm finished writing it.
