I didn't realize I was logged out so when I posted it, it read me as a guest.
As for the idea, I was in a Zelda mindset and I was toying with the idea that link pulls out a sword shaped like a female symbol from an alter kinda like the master sword. and it turns him into a girl. that was the original sketch.

I really liked it so I expanded, making a larger, prettier verion but turned the sword into a male symbol and gave "him" a female symbol shield (I was inspired by the "sword and shield level in oracle of seasons).
I could point out a few more things about the drawing, there was a lot of planning behind it or explain the whole storyline (That's right, I came up with one.)
but this post is running reeeeeeeally long so..bleh.

The sword and Shield dungeon was first in Link to the Past. Which is the best Zelda ever. They remade it for Seasons but was first in LttP. LttP was a lot of firsts for the series. Like the first time you got the master sword. And I believe it was the first one that the Dark world was used or something simular. Sorry I get like this with LttP. *bows*
