Raijin's New Drawing Desk

Postby Raijin » Wed Jan 11, 2006 3:59 pm

Since, I wanted to do a fresh clean. Due to the fact when I installed my new motherboard and CPU I had to reformat I lost my picture and thus! Here is the new drawing desk with a new picture!

Recently Ive been interested in digital painting. I had a try at it with the help of some useful links. Took about 2 days using only Photoshop.

That's very cool. ^_^ I've never been good with digital art... but you seem to have a lot of talent with it. x3

Welcome back! And that's a super cool picture. I'm not sure what it is, but it somehow looks super cool.

It looks slightly like Malak, with the whole having a big metal thing over the bottom of his face.

Yeah sadly I went a tad over board with the smudge tool. Yet I am happy with the result. ^^

Photoshop: Adriana Lima

Postby Raijin » Thu Jan 12, 2006 6:18 pm

Here was somthing I felt like trying for my own personal studies.

I cheated with the shaping by just using base colors over top of the original pictures. But my focus on this picture was to pratice shading in photoshop.

Here is the picture I used its a picture of Adriana Lima.

and here is the shading I did. Instead of using dodge and burn I tryed using just the brush with an opacity setting. Then I ended up smudging to blend the colors together

I'd admit some more work and fine tuning can be done and I may get to it. BUUT I am happy over all with the out come. ^^

I did a slight update at an attempt to make it look better.
