What do you get when you combine three random characters, two random items, a random genre, two random plot elements, a random setting, and a random resolution? Hilarity and a decent writing challenge. Of course, it may also spawn ideas that don't necessarily stick to the random elements given - but, hey, that's the way things work, ne?

Give it a try: generate something random, and see if you can't come up with a story (or story idea?) that incorporates (most of) those elements. And if not, it may be that a couple things generated may spark some different ideas, like, just how did the princess and a vagabond get on the asteroid, or what sort of story would involve an assassin, an ex-stripper, and an enchanted bra?

And, if you're curious, I liked the source from the page as well, you can look at the arrays and suggest characters, settings, plot points, resolutions, and so on - to make the generator bigger and better. ^^;
