Hey, those are really good! The facial expressions and detail on the face overall is excellent on both of them, especially the first image.

His left arm seems to short in the second image, though. A trick I use is to just memorize where your own hand comes up on your leg when standing, and use that as your reference. Of course, I mess it up sometimes too, so hopefully someone else will have a better way for you to do it ^^;

Great work, though. Hope you share some more with us when you can.

What you need is a picture of a human skeleton or a magazine with some photos for reference. The elbow, when dropped straight down is about level with the bottom of the rib cage. The wrist hits at the bottom of the crotch.

Yeh...I think his right upper arm is too long, or the forearm is too short, or some combination of the two...I'm always had troubles with these things. Plus, I think I messed his eyes up. I like the first ones better!

Custom Naruto character (wow, not like there aren't a lot of those. >.>) named Boujyou Akira. His surname (Bojyou) is made of two different words for staff, because I am really uncreative. He uses *gasp* a bo staff.

New deviantID. It contains an anime version of myself, drawn by tracing a simplified outline over my picture and coloring accordingly.

I think it turned out nicely.

Self-portraits are one of my favorite things to draw, personally. When you're bored and have nothing to draw, might as well do the one thing you know better than anything... yourself! You don't have to pay for a model either XD
