Magical Sailor Fuku

Lately I have been considering writing a story about the Chibi, my fictional group of toaster worshiping, penguin loving short-folk. However I'm feeling really awkward about referring to them as 'Chibi' as that name already exist, referring to the miniaturized characters in anime that my creation is based off of.

Any-who, if anyone has any ideas on where to get help or inspiration for naming fictional groups of munchkins or even have a name in mind for the Chibi I would really appreciate all the help I can get.

Hmmmm... How about... Shorestough.

Okay, okay; a serious name. Well, if you want to stick with Japanese, how about: Chiisaijin (小さい人). To my understanding, that literally means "small people."

I think Chiisaijin works the best for me. It has a certain ring to it as well as a meaning.

Some of the other names people suggested worked as well although I probably see them as a 'nickname' for the Chibi with Chiisaijin being the official title for the group. Now the only thing that needs naming are the characters but that is really just a matter of going to Baby Names and glancing over the lists. That or doing what that Tim LaHaye guy does by naming characters after random European mountain ranges.
