Ahem. Thanks to some poster on the SGVY forums for linking over to this corner of the internet! Thanks to Musashi for giving me cheese and crackers within seconds of my arrival! Thanks to people who commented on the stories I put up here! Thanks to whoever decided to have a story contest, and thanks to whoever funded it! Thanks to all the other authors who were in the contest for their entries which I enjoyed reading! Thanks to the creators and maintainers of this site! Thanks, finally, to you catpeople, demonesses, magic users, fey, temporary humans and the whole lot of ya that make this place unlike any other!

Well, if you have any comments on my story, I'd love to hear 'em. Apparently someone thought it was halfway decent .

*Unburrows into the massive pile of cheese and crackers, and you see bit of it disappearing one big chunk per frame. Soon all the cheese pile is gone and all that remains is me passed out with a huge smile of cheesy satiation*

So, no kids gloves next time, eh muffinstud? I shall keep that in mind . I really didn't expect to win, I thought people would be like "zomg teh character just dropped into teh role" and "wtfsticks I hate instant transformerations" or "where are the cat peoplez and aeternelae an stuff" as well as "Who tought this punk how to punctuate dialogue?" and finally "He so stole the inspiration for his magicky ness from Robert Jordan/WoT".

But, hey, it turned out spiffy! Here's my patenting story writing process:

1) Observe that there is a contest going on
2) Ponder writing a story
3) Continue pondering for the better part of the month
4) Gorge on sugary things
5) Realize that there are only three days to write that story you had been thinking about
6) Be one with the sugar

High tech, isn't it? And let me tell you, $100 buys a WHOLE lot of sugar =D.

And it's a good story. The 'love' thing, and the 'kill the guy' thing is a bit iffy, but I liked it still. It deserved to win.
