A very, very short piece: Musings on Memories

This is a tiny piece that I wrote in under 20 minutes. It is the musings of an Ovalisk.

I woke up with somebody else’s memories in addition to my own today. Only mother-sister tells me that they are the memories of who I was before.

I can only remember the happy times. The times he had fun, or was with friends or loved ones.

There are very few memories, come to think of it...

I remember "me" looking in a mirror during one of the happy times, so I know what he looked like.

I like the way I look now better, I look more like mother-sister.

I can remember the faces of those I was friends with or loved, very clearly. Some of them are ones that I sought out after my change. Without knowing why, I was driven to them to make them like me, to make them my daughter-sisters.

Now, I want to go find the rest more than ever. If their lives have as few happy moments as “mineâ€
