Elemental Change

I was reading that "Elemental Change" story, and it basically follows the "Magical Girl" style plot, with a twist. 5 Friends end up becoming noblewomen in a city where everyone can do magic. Usually one of these develops leadership qualities, and the others usally support the leader.

There should be a rp of it, with new characters, some who are natives and some who were "changed" like Lumina, Flare, Terren, Tidranna, and Zephyr, who represent the 5 elements (Light, Fire, Earth, Water, and Wind). You think we should run an Elemental Change rp, with some dark themed villians/villianesses? They could be the mirror opposites of the main heroes/heroines.

I've been watching several shows with the "Magical Girl" theme:

Winx Club - Faires, Pixies, Specialists (Heroes in Training), and Witches attend classes in their respective schools (Alfea College for Fairies, Cloud Tower Academy, the Witch training school, and Red Fountain School for Heroics and Bravery, for those guys who like to wield swords, bow and arrows, and blaster guns). There is a common town called Magix, where the characters go to eat pizza, shop, or go to the Hex Cafe (the young witches hang out and study for classes and swap spell ideas). Great opportunity for rp here. Especially when your witch character could ka-girl an unsuspecting Specialist, or really mess up the faires. Only 3 witches have travelled the dark side and they got kicked out of Cloud Tower by their headmistress; Icy, Darcy, and Stormy, the Trix sisters.

The main faires are Bloom, Stella, Flora, Musa, Layla, and Tecna. The staff includes a gnome named Prof. Wizgiz, an elf named Prof. Palliadium, and several humans who cook in the cafeteria, run the Library, Nurse Ofellia runs the nurse's office, and Ms. Griselda is assistant principal, with the head of the school is Feragonda. Each Fairy has her special pixie friend. Lockette, Amore, Chatta, Tune, Piff (the sleepy baby pixie of sweet sleep), and Digit, the pixie of technology.



Mew Mew Power - More towards the environmental side, with dealing with rare and endangered species infusing with chosen humans and then they end up working at a Cafe as a cover for their base. We have an ongoing rp in the regular rp room.

Elemental Change belongs to Princess Jei, who generally doesn't come here anymore.

That being said, I'd find it not right to have an RP based on her property without her permission.

Point Taken. Still a good story and the animated artwork Jei did looked really cool! Especially the character's reactions to being turned into the noblewomen from that community they went to with their respective mentors, each with their own special powers.

I've spoken to her now and then but she never really comes unto the Stories board.

And, frankly, if you do an RP in private there's no way she'd ever know or be able to stop you.

Well this is a topic I didn't expect to see.

Why people like my story enough to want to RP it I'll never know but I'm flattered.

Um, as far as an RP goes I'm perfectly fine with people using the concept but seeing as I never finished EC I think it would be a mistake to put the setting on the island Bikacanus. I would suggest just creating your own island with your own rules. That way you aren't hindered by the ancient story that desperately needs to be rewritten anyway.

Jay, your story was interesting and I was wondering if those 5 new girls; Lumina, Flare, Zephyr, Terren, and Tidranna would start to use their new powers in training or in actual combat. With the apparent death of Lumina's mentor, there are a lot more questions to ask about how she would cope with the loss, what customs do they have about burying their dead, etc...or the new girls train hard with a new mentor assigned to Lumina from her "guild."
