FF4 Sprite Comic - What Style Sprites?

Postby Selena Aninikkou » Sun Apr 08, 2007 1:19 am

Well, a friend of mine suggested I do a sprite comic on FF4 (more specifically, the story of FF4 Redemption I was writing). The question is, what style of sprites should I use? I'm not sure if using the original FF4 sprites is such a fantastic idea, considering how old and small they are...

Anyone have any ideas?

You could use the FF4A sprites if you'd like, but you'd have to find them or rip them yourself if you don't have them already. I know there are plenty of sites that do that kind of thing, so...

... Forget it. I can't sprite well anyway; the only kind of sprites I could possibly use would have to be HUGE...

I don't know why I even thought this would be a good idea. I'm not an artist.

Well, to make sprites huge, you could do what Clevinger of 8-bit Theater does: Zoom in with the sprites. >>;

Or you could do what Elf only Inn did for its first run, and take some pictures and just cut and paste them over and over with slight variations of the expressions
